If what matters most is spending time together in a beautiful, serene location far from everyday troubles, pack your bags, and invite your significant other, another couple or a couple of friends, to join you for some R & R in our modern Door County cottage. The quiet wooded retreat awaits: custom-built, elegant living space, warm hospitality, with stylish designer amenities and all the comforts of home.

The Home
We'll provide everything you'll need for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
First floor: king bedroom, open kitchen / living area, bathroom and laundry room
Upstairs: a second king bedroom
* Tastefully decorated interior
* Soaring vaulted ceilings allow the sunlight to flood the main living area
* Bluetooth speakers
* Double patio doors that lead to the outdoors
* Large sundeck overlooking the woods for either dining or relaxing outdoors
* Amenities and thoughtful touches that show we truly care about the comfort and quality of your stay
This makes for the perfect Door County hideaway for a couple, a small family or a solo adventurer.

The Location
Located 1.7 miles from downtown Bailey's Harbor, enjoy a popular destination on the "quiet side" of the peninsula along the shores of Lake Michigan.
* Set in the sleepy woods just outside of Bailey's Harbor
* Three minute car ride, thirty minute walk or five minute bike ride takes you into town to visit :
Cana Island Lighthouse, hike at the Ridges Sanctuary, the village park, marina, beach, boutiques, restaurants, brewery, winery, bike/kayak rentals, ice cream / coffee shops, Sunday farmer's market and more.
* Centrally located on the peninsula making visits to all of Door County's most popular little towns: Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, and Egg Harbor all within a short drive (5-15 min).

The Comfort, Safety & Security
* Whole house furnace and central air conditioning
* Keyless door (Each guest is issued a unique code that is only valid during their stay)
* Free on-site parking for 2 cars
* Security camera monitors activity in the driveway.

IMPORTANT:
* We are a PET FREE property.
* Max Occupancy is 4 people / 2 cars per our permit with the village of Bailey's Harbor.
* There is a 2nd dwelling on the property that is occasionally occupied by the owner.
* We extend a warm welcome to all guests in our home. Please do not attempt to violate the basic house rules related to: occupancy, pets, smoking or parties etc. and put us all in an uncomfortable position. If you have a question about house rules please ask.

Although this is a new listing, we are premier hosts of another Door County property since 2020. Please reference reviews from guests who have stayed with us at our other location VRBO #1996553. You'll see we are committed to providing warm hospitality and a flawless experience.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Cherry Cottage. The Cottage was very clean, well stocked and exactly as the listing stated. Michelle’s was very attentive, quick to respond to questions and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We are planning on returning in the fall.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The home was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect...easy access to everywhere in Door County. The host, Michelle, was wonderful with making sure our stay was perfect and she was very responsive to answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat!

Lovely A-frame on wooded lot. Well appointed inside- comfortable and nice bedding. Beautiful view of the woods from the master bedroom. Excellent water pressure in shower. Nice white towels. We had most everything we needed in the kitchen. No complaints. Would definitely stay again! We were on a winter getaway. Will go back when we can enjoy the patio :O)

We spent Christmas week at Michelle’s cottage. Even though there are other houses that are very close by, we never heard anything. We enjoyed going to The Coyote Roadhouse and catching up with Jen, the bartender at The Cornerstone (we lived in Door County for many years before moving to Madison). Michelle was extremely responsive to an issue we had with the fireplace our first day. Beautiful place that we would definitely recommend!

This cabin was perfect for our girls holiday weekend. We enjoyed seeing the local Christmas market, candle making, and a local restaurant. This home was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make meals in and enjoy Christmas movies by the fire. Can't wait to enjoy another weekend away weekend away at Red Cherry Woods Cottage.

We enjoyed every moment from the time we stepped inside this lovely home until we, sadly, had to say goodbye. The atmosphere and all the extra little touches made us feel so welcome. We have never stayed in such an awesome rental. We thought we should buy it and just stay there. Michelle was phenomenal and there for us if there were any questions. We want to go back.
