"Beautiful view of the lake. Daily walks during spring season was perfect. Flowers bursting everywhere Very quiet and remote. Extremely spacious. Perfect for multi-families. Internet works great only inside cabin. Joseph was very friendly and very helpful for any questions or concerns. Loved the woodstove fireplace. It was fun to use and kept us warm. "

"We really enjoyed staying at Ash Mountain for many reasons. To begin with, the setting is superb: a quiet mountain overlooking a river. The constant sound was super peaceful. Communication with Lori, the owner, was great and she helped us to ensure a pleasant stay. For example, we did not know about the harsh winter they had had at Sequoia as we do not live in the US, but she warned us about road and park closures so we could plan our days. "Perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the mountains. The property is private and quiet. We enjoyed sitting outside to enjoy the wildlife and the stars at night. Very convenient to the Foothills entrance of Sequoia Park and Three Rivers. The property is updated and comfortable. Recommend. "

"We had a wonderful 3 nites stay. Great communications from the host prior to the checking in. The property settings were peaceful, tranquil and quiet. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities needed for our stay. It is definitely our home away from home. We are so glad that we found this place for our visit to the national parks. "This was a great stay. We were close to the park though because it is a windy road it was about 1 hr. The hot tub was a big hit and the river was amazing even though we could not get in because the current was super strong. The owner was very responsive when needed and small issues were promptly resolved."

"We were 7 people staying at this house for a night. We thought the common area queen bed was set up, until later we realized that we had to set up the blowup mattresses ourselves. But it was too late that we found out and realized the blow-up mattresses were in one of the closets the next morning via the reply from the host. It would be nice if this was informed before we arrived. Eventually, the host sent a very informative and detailed message regarding the check-in just not the blowup...

"Property has an amazing view! It is also easy to “check-in,” very clean and well-maintained. Two important things to note. First, despite what the listing states, there is no AC. There is some sort of system that cools the air a bit, but does nothing about humidity. We stayed during a heat dome event and it was uncomfortable. The second item to note is that this is a remote location high up in elevation. The road up is constant switchbacks and my wife got car sick (I cannot think of another time...

"Cabin had comfortable beds and thankfully plenty of fans. Unfortunately ran out of toilet paper first night. Host voicemail not set up and no instructions for Wi-Fi password or TV dish. Friendly cats on the front porch. Keep in mind front door could lock behind you. Nearest grocery is 45 min at a Valero gas station. Excellent food at Pinehurst Lodge bar and grill on the way to/from Sequoia. Minor issues aside we enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cabin."
