Holiday Inn Darlington - A1 Scotch Corner by IHG
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist had booked guests in a million times and was very efficient. The young waitress who served me was originally from Kent and l recognised her accent from coming from where l used to live. My room 101 was a nice location, full view of the Scotch ...

Everything you need, very comfortable bed and great log burner, friendly host. NOTE: not really mountain side but can’t leave that off the rating.

Cottage with pretty garden and views. 2 mins from cobbled square, pubs/amenities
It was cosy, and a well equipped home from home and the log burner was great. A comfy bed too.
