"We have stayed here a number of times in the past,when they had free on-site parking,which helped.Sadly,that has gone now. Pay parking is nearby and gives you a break between 6pm and 9 am. Room was good and breakfasts were hearty."

"Great communication from Hotel prior to stay, and really friendly when arrived. Nice property, and easy to get to, with parking available. Staff were really considerate and made me feel safe on a solo travel, without prompt giving a room with private shower, when purchased a shared bathroom. Only shared toilet facilities for my duration. Truly appreciated upgrade. Breakfast was good, option of full english and alternatives, alongside buffet style cereals and fruits. "We stayed for 2 nights to meet up with family from Australia. The location is very convenient for travelling into Oxford on the local buses. There are also restaurants, cafes and shops within a 15-minute walk. Very convenient for us"

"This was a really good place to stay and such a wonderful find for repeat visits when I’m in the area again. A must have for breakfast is the homemade pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and delicious glacéd sliced apples, simply wonderful."

The location of the property is in easy walking distance from the train station, a car rental store and also the amazing Oxford city centre. "

"It’s a pub with rooms at the back, not the biggest but perfectly functional. Very hot in the room, could do with a fan maybe? The lady behind the bar got a little flustered, made a call and got it sorted. Also very European when it came to bar service. Overall will stay again if needed"

"Convenient for town centre. Warm and comfortable. If you go out for the day you will loose your parking space. Park on Halfords till a space becomes available."

"Usually use Prem Inn but prices are getting ridicules, found Kingfisher Bard, first class, reasonable price and breakfast included not like Prem Inn, £9.50 extra for continental brekkie. Definitely use again."

"I just spent a really comfortable stay at Flint Cottage. The cottage is beautifully presented, clean with all the home comforts you would want. Breakfast was fabulous and at a reasonable price."

"Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....

"King Charles Room is fantastic. I highly recommend it. Host is very friendly and always willing to help. The whole house is full of historic artwork and worth visiting. Parking is easy and convenient location. I cannot fault it any way"
