Robin’s Nest

We had a great stay at Robin’s Nest. Every thing was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The view was amazing. The only drawback was the stairs to the 3rd floor which we were aware of. It is a great place and we had a perfect stay.

Best view in OBX!

This was a dream location. I never wanted to leave this unit because everything we wanted was right there with the views from every window of the ocean. I wish the storm had not caused us to leave 2 days early though - was sad to have to leave. This unit was chock-full of everything you could possibly want. The only thing you needed to bring was fresh food & booze! The decor and furnishings are upscale, and the linens are top-notch. Why would you want to go find a restaurant with a view when you can order carry-out or cook in the VERY well-stocked kitchen and eat on the deck with THE view? Also, in the master bedroom, if you open the windows at night, you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. What more could you want? And the 62 steps (I counted lol) is good cardio, but don't do what I did and count steps instead of watching where you're walking and miss a step (going down) then look around to make sure no one saw you fall LOL! Great place, loved Avon, miss it already, want a re-do to have the full 7 days.

OBX Property

The property was one of the cleanest and well appointed condos we have stayed in. It had everything we needed. The ocean views from the deck were amazing! The property was close to everything we needed including grocery store and restaurants. The property being in Avon meant it was considerably quieter and more peaceful that our previous vacations in more populated areas. If there was anything that would influence the score is the stairs.

Our anniversary trip

My husband and I have been coming to Avon for 30 years. This is the first time it was just us, so we decided to rent a condo this time. It was wonderful, the views were great. The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We are hooked!

Great view!

Robyn’s Nest is well represented on the website. The view is wonderful. The kitchen is well appointed. The stairs are many but the view and accommodations are worth it. Hatteras Realty even delivered a Thanksgiving surprise. The grocery store, restaurants, seafood markets and local shops are all very close to the condo. We will definitely return!

Beautiful ocean view and condo

This condo is exactly as stated and more. The owner was in contact early in our visit to make sure things were good, even though we actually booked thru a reality company. The view was so good, we were able to enjoy the beach without having to actually be on the beach. The stairs were a great cardio for us, but it could be challenging for some. The condo has been stocked with everything you could need and more and great care was taken to make it feel like home. If we come back to the area, we will stay here again.

Picture perfect, great location on OBX

Robyn’s Nest is an exceptional property located steps away from Avon Pier. Outstanding location to watch magnificent sunrises and the endless beach transform during the day. On Tuesdays, there is a Farmers Market & Art Fair within walking distance; don’t miss it. During our stay in August, there were 5 identified loggerhead turtle nests on the beach so maybe you could see a march to the ocean some night. Only drawback was the 63 stairs up and down which could be challenging, but I wouldn’t give up the view due to the stairs. It was the best!

Absolutely Fantastic and Awesome!

Wow! Wake up every morning to a beautiful sunrise at the foot of your bed and a crashing surf surround-sound from 3 sides of the bedroom. Immaculate living with touches of comfort that you would not expect. Everything you need is here including a well stocked kitchen, beautifully remodeled master bathroom, comfortable beds, desk area with plenty of outlets and a walk-out deck with spectacular views. The 3 level stair hike to the top is a perfect cardio workout. We brought 2 bikes and headed out to Food Lion when we needed anything, walked the beach every day, collected some cool shells, cooked every night and had the best week ever. This is an absolutely fantastic and awesome place to stay!

Outer Banks Bliss!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robyn's Nest! We visited "off season" towards the end of November. The only drawback about visiting off season, is there are not as many restaurants and stores open, but we prefer it quiet anyway. The views from our deck and master bedroom were spectacular. You could watch sunrises off the back deck in the morning and sunsets off the front deck in the evening. We took walks on the beautiful beach right below our unit every day and the temperature in the 60's was perfect! The unit was very clean and it had a fully stocked kitchen, with everything you could possibly need. The only drawback was, you are on the third floor and there are no elevators, but once we settled in, the stairs were not an issue. We were completely satisfied and will most probably be back there next year!

Beautiful quiet oceanfront getaway

Robin's nest was wonderful. The views were amazing and the covered deck allowed us to enjoy the views without getting wet on our only rainy day. The decor was nice. The owners have an well stocked kitchen with more than you could need. Highly recommend staying here.
