  • New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

    Take in the gorgeous ocean and sound views from multiple decks and the screened porch at Gail's Force! Plenty of windows will let in that delightful Outer Banks sunshine as you sit surrounded by the comfortable indoor splendor of the large great room with an elevated lookout area with colorful furnishings.

    The kitchen with a breakfast bar will give everyone a place to enjoy some treats and catch up on the day's adventures, or you can relax in the living room and enjoy a refreshing beverage from the wet bar while you watch a show on the TV. Perhaps you would prefer to read a book in the oversized cozy chairs in the lookout, the perfect place on a rainy day at the beach. Tired of eating indoors? Have a picnic or dine alfresco on the screen porch while enjoying the ocean breeze. Additional TVs, a Blu-ray player, two stereo/CD players, and surround sound are also on hand for indoor entertainment.

    There are two main bedrooms, one with a private jetted tub, when it's time to get some shut-eye.

    Gail's Force boasts other great amenities for you this year! A lockable storage space is available to store beach equipment and other items, and high-speed WiFi for your laptop is offered for your convenience. Free Netflix streaming is available through the Blu-ray player.

    A short walk to the grocery store and shopping center will top off your excellent semi-oceanfront property on your next trip to the Outer Banks!

    Please Note: As a barrier island, Hatteras is constantly changing. Beach conditions, dunes, and access points may vary due to erosion, restoration projects, weather, and other environmental factors.

It is a beautiful amazing home. We were close to the beach easy access Beautiful views all around Right by the grocery store Lots of room. It was the perfect house for me and my family Lots of steps so plenty of exercise as well I really enjoyed it so much I would recommend staying there

Wonderful stay at Gail’s Force!

Views from the deck are nice. The home is spacious and the upstairs sunroom is perfect for relaxation. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Lastly and most importantly, the beach was beautiful!

Loved the interior, it was very close to the beach, great views. Walkable distance from grocery stores. Only thing that was slightly irritating was the slow wifi but overall it was a great experience. Would book again.

It was pretty good overall. I just wished there were pot holders and more towels. It was very wet and rainy from the storm and there weren’t enough towels. The furniture also was blowing all over the deck and got knocked off. It was very clean and nice just needed a few more things

Wonderful house

The house was wonderful for our girls trip! The location to the beach and the stores was wonderful. We had a problem with the AC downstairs but the management team was fabulous with answering our concerns in a timely manner and sending out maintenance to fix it. When they couldn’t they supplied each room with a window unit and installed them quickly. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to be close to the beach and have plenty of space for everyone in their group!

Excellent Home with a Great Location

This house is perfect for a family vacation. It is centrally located in Avon near the main shopping center on Hatteras Island. Very close walk to the beach, locally owned restaurants and shops. The house is very well maintained and is very clean. The large living room and dinning area provides enough seating to accommodate the entire family. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next vacation trip to Hatteras Island.

Lovely home

Overall, a great experience. All the comforts of home. Easy check in/out. Plenty of games & puzzles for rainy day or family game night. Walls actually very thick. Hard to hear anything in the other rooms. Great views from the deck while having morning coffee. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Week on the beach!

The house is beautiful, location is optimal to grocery store, restaurants, etc. 5 bedrooms all on the main level. Kitchen, dining and living room are big and comfortable. The decks are spacious. The viewing room up from the living room is when I stayed mostly, watching the waves. Very nice quiet neighborhood with beach access about 3 houses down. The house is as beautiful as the pictures.

One of the best houses that we rented in 15 years !

Spacious, comfortable and clean ! Great views, close to the beach , conveniently located . We're been coming to the outer banks for 15 years and this house was the best house we've ever rented. I will say the Wi-Fi was very slow. The AC needs to be better regulated. Hot on the top floor and cold on the second floor.
