Casas privadas de vacaciones en Avon

"Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

"We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door,...

"Cute and cozy home away from home! We loved our stay and all the nice features there were!! Everything was neat and clean and host was super amazing and helpful! We definitely will choose this place again if we’re ever in the area."

"This VRBO has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Connecticut. The view and relaxing patio overlook paddlers on the Farmington River. The beds are comfortable and the furnishing are very pleasant. The little village of Collinsville provides wonderful trails to stroll. Several restaurants and music venues were fun, but the Farmer's Market on Sundays in the summer is not to miss. Carol, the host, lives next door, and can be reached easily. This was my second stay here and I would not...

"Great location and well equipped. We will be back"

"Beautiful, well maintained, lovely New England home with a fully updated kitchen, 2 minute walk to Blue Back square in the heart of west Hartford. Perfectly clean, well equipped with many little extra touches. Mark was a perfect host, always available and responsive to us the entire trip. Highly recommend! Seamless stay"

"Really love this place. Excellent kitchen and back porch!"

"It was a nice place to stay that was close to West Hartford Center."

"The place is easy to locate. It is as beautiful as the photo. Clean and spacious.I definitely would stay there again."

"Very clean and spacious! Would definitely recommend."

"Very clean, the host was very responsive in a timely manner. The location was a nice suburban neighborhood, huge yard, on the end of a cul-de-sac. The kids loved the pool table & downstairs apartment. There are lots of stairs so maybe not the best for an older person, but they did have a ramp entry into the house. The house was very nicely decorated and comfortable furnishings."

"Great location for our six flags visit (about 15 minutes away)."

"House was lovely and very comfortable. The ammenities in house were plentiful and up to date. We were able to make dinner and find all that we needed to do so and we we able to relax comfortably and sleep well. Host was easy to reach and responsive. House was roomier and nicer than it appeared in the photos"

"Super cute home, very clean with everything you need. Property was manicured and very well kept. Comfortable beds and easy instructions for check in and checkout."

"Clean and worked well for what we needed. Comfortable beds"

"We had a wonderful stay here over the July 4th weekend and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and peaceful, and being just four miles from our daughter’s house made the location absolutely perfect for our family visit. The home itself is beautifully maintained and has been tastefully renovated. We especially loved the updated kitchen and bathroom, and the refinished hardwood floors add so much character and charm. Most impressive of all, the house was...

"Washing machine broken, vertical blinds in front bedroom had broken slat, tv volume inoperable, garbage disposal not working, kitchen sink clogged, 2 burners on range & oven not working, back bedroom bed frame very sho. Neighborhood was nice and mattresses on beds were decent so we made it work for the 3 nights we stayed - but would not recommend"

"I had an emergency and was only able to stay one night, but enjoyed my stay "
