The Space:

Hang up your hat and kick off your boots! Built in 1894 by stonemason Robert Stanley, this registered historic landmark has undergone extensive renovations while still retaining its stately charm. Original stone walls? Yessir. Beautiful woodwork throughout? Yes ma’am. Updated kitchen and bathrooms? Yes, please! You’ll find period details from back in the day, like handcrafted stairs, a mahogany library, and clawfoot tubs are juxtaposed nicely with the modern conveniences of high-end appliances, large tiled baths, marble showers, and 24 double-hung windows that allow great views and changing light during the day.



The Main House

Three levels of warm, thoughtfully designed living space, with 3 bedrooms in the main house plus one flexible bonus space, and 3 bathrooms total between the main house and cottage.



Entry Level

Bedroom 1: 1 king bed with ensuite bath

Sunroom: daybed plus trundle, sleeps 2, doubles as a sitting area or extra sleeping space for kids or an adult



Upper Level

Bedroom 2: 1 king bed, suite-style with a closing door

The Study: connects to the king bedroom, desk plus 2 single beds, works as a sitting room or light sleeping space for kids. Note the connecting door means this space suits families or close friends more than a mixed group of separate guests.



Ground Level

Bedroom 3: 1 queen bed with ensuite bath

Living Room: 1 queen sofa bed



The Cottage (standalone, backyard)

Just outside the cabin, you’ll find a BBQ, a large dining table for enjoying some grub and a sitting area where you can hang out with your gang. Did we mention there’s a pool?! Jump in and cool off during those hot Texas summer (May - October) days.



The Stanley is located just two blocks west of the South Congress entertainment district (did somebody say Tacos?), as well as major Austin attractions. You won’t find an authentic Texas experience this close to downtown anywhere else. Registered both as a city and state landmark, The Stanley’s contemporary upgrades give you the best of both worlds.



Traveling with your furry friend? We allow 2 pets as long as their combined weight is no more than 60 lbs. (Must sign a pet agreement, and there’s a fee per night. Certain breed restrictions apply.)

Getting Around:

When the weather is pleasant, enjoy walking through the beautiful tree-lined streets of this eclectic neighborhood. You will find tons of shops and restaurants and some music venues on lively South Congress Avenue - less than a mile away. From South Congress Avenue, downtown Austin is just another mile north. You can also easily get over to the Rainey Street District, East Austin, Zilker Park, and Bouldin - all within 3 miles.



The nearest international airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS/KAUS) 9.2 miles | 14.8 km away. We recommend getting around by car as there are no public transportation options. .



Other Things to Note:

Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.



We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.



Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request.



Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.



Above ground pool available from May to October.



We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:

- Travelers must be at least 21 years old or older to book.

- A $100 replacement fee applies for any lost or missing parking pass.

- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.

- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.

- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.

- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, and a pet fee of $25 per night. Pet fee is requested after booking is confirmed. Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs.

- We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.



Interaction with Guests:

It’s self-check-in using a code. All the access codes will be provided to you before your arrival.
