Located between Austin and Dripping Springs, TX, and close to Belterra Village, this five bedroom, 2-acre Hill Country home is perfect for accessing any local event (weddings, wine country, breweries/distilleries, BBQ, SXSW, ACL, Formula 1, Longhorn Football, Perdernales Falls State Park, LBJ Ranch, Fredericksburg, TX, WWII Museum, golf courses, and lakes). The home has a fully-stocked kitchen, cable TVs, WiFi, phone, fishing pond, fire pit, BBQ pit, pool table, and multiple refridgerators. The five bedrooms sleep 10 comfortably in beds, but with pull-out sofa beds and roll-away beds, the home can comfortably accommodate 16 people.

The home is spacious, clean, and a wonderful private property in a country setting. The location is ideal! Close to major highways, stores, Austin airport and city! We stayed for our daughter’s wedding in Dripping Springs. The host reached out to make sure we had anything we needed throughout our stay and after we checked out! Rudy responded immediately to any questions from the booking throughout the stay. We would love to stay again!! We highly recommend this home, definitely a favorite!

Such a beautiful home. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and instructions for the property were very clear. Our only wish for the property is that we could have stayed there longer. We needed the home for our daughter’s wedding at a nearby venue. We would have loved to fish in the pond and enjoy the fire pit but we were so busy with the wedding. We would love to come back for a relaxing stay and enjoy the comforts of the home and property. We did see some deer running through the yard in the early mornings and evenings we were there, which was a highlight for us.

Lots of room in this house to spread out and enjoy family and friends. The host was amazing to work with and communicated very well. He checked in with us and made sure everything was going well. Very accommodating. If you’re looking for a quiet place to gather and relax: this is the place.

Bachelorette weekend

This property is beautiful and very spacious. The weekend was for my daughter's girl's getaway before her wedding. There was plenty of room for 12 of us to gather for eating and playing games. Several areas outside to enjoy as well. We had no shortage of places to sleep and plenty of refrigerator space for food and drinks. We even had the wine tour company pick us up at the house. Perfect location. Close enough to all the conveniences and also feeling secluded and out of the hustle and bustle right outside the neighborhood. We had a great time and will stay again if in the area. All the birds and deer were an added bonus. Thanks Rudy!!

Great homebase for family and friends

Our family stayed at Rudy's Nest for a family wedding weekend. Great house, spacious, picturesque location, and close to everything in Dripping Springs. The owner was great at communication, access was easy, and the owner very kindly mailed us a dress that we inadvertently left behind, at no cost. Overall, a lovely home in which to spend a few days in Dripping Springs!

Great Property!

We stayed with 8 of our friends to see the total eclipse. The house is very spacious and well equipped. All was as listed. Rudy always communicated very promptly, I highly recommend this rental property for groups of friends or family gatherings.

Beautiful Property!

The entire experience was extraordinary! It was easily booked and communication with the owner was exceptional! He even personally came by to bring us more towels and fill us in on the property and local attractions- very hospitable! The house was very clean with lots of room for our entire family… and 5 beautiful bathrooms were appreciated with all of our teenagers! The grounds provided lots of entertainment.. fishing, lots of room for games, and celebrating each day at night around the firepit! We would all highly recommend this property!! Five stars all around!!

This home has everything you need to make your stay comfortable! We had a big group so we did cook and enjoyed the full kitchen! There was not one thing I can think of that this home did not have! Saw a few deer and a beautiful buck as well! Incredible amenities!

Good, but no pool (though VRBO listing says there is)

Convenient location, plenty of room for sleeping 12 of us, nice outdoor area for hanging out, & overall a pleasant stay. However, the VRBO listing specifically says that it has a pool under "pool & spa", which was part of my filter requirements for booking a location. This is NOT TRUE; there is a pond that is not swimmable & a pool table (though I think this is separately listed on VRBO), but this lack was a major disappointment for our group. Some other details that were not as jarring, but need noting: the smoke detector looks like it has been removed upstairs, a door hinge came off when we opened the purple room door, a faucet head is missing from the master bathroom, & a red light/wastewater alarm went off outside at 1am. We would recommend this stay, but the VRBO listing needs to match what actually is present. :)

Lovely home and property!

We rented for our daughter’s wedding weekend and the house was great for hosting my family. All 8 of us fit with room to spare. We had a small bridal brunch and it was the perfect hosting house. Communication with the owner/manager could not have been better.

Fantastic spot for a house full of family!

We were in town for my nieces wedding and this home had more than enough space to accommodate my group of nine friends and cousins. None of the single people had to share a room or a bathroom, with the exception of the fighter plane room. It was practically perfect! The communication with the host, the check-in process, and departure were all so simple. If you're in town for a wedding weekend or just exploring the countless distilleries, wineries, and breweries in the area, this is a perfect spot!

Wonderful home

Loved the space for three families to stay of various ages. My neice married a short few miles away and we even had her bridal luncheon which was beautiful on the long table and had plenty of room in the kitchen and dining to host all 20. Loved the balcony and delighted watching the deer randomly. A great place to have the teens enjoy a pool game or watch a movie as cousins. Host was available for anything we needed. House was clean and everything beautiful.

This is a wonderful property. We stayed here with family for a wedding and hosted the rehearsal dinner. Lots of beds and fridge space! Rudy was super nice. We saw deer almost every day and the pond and fire ring were extra fun.

Austin Baby Shower

The property is great. This is our second time to stay there. We had a wonderful time both times! The host was great to work with. Only issue with me was that the fees are a bit high with this one, we had to fork out the refundable deposit and pay for a non-refundable insurance policy. Seemed a bit too much. But regardless, I would definitely recommend this property!
