Prime Location w King Accommodations Near Downtown

Charming space within this character-filled 1912 home! With everything you should need during your stay, this space offers you comfort and privacy in a great location. Just minutes from so many of Austin`s best, you will have no problem finding endless entertainment nearby!



We have an expansive 360 tour of this space - check it out by scanning the QR code in the image gallery. You can use the floor plan or the navigation bar at the bottom to explore the house. Also, if you go to an outdoor space, look up, and click the cloud with the arrow, then you will also get a tour of Austin! Enjoy!



This rental is a small space perfect for two and is the perfect launching pad for your Austin adventure! Please note that this space is beneath the main family home and the walls are thin given it was built over a century ago! The family that lives upstairs has a toddler that generally wakes up around 7:30 AM and goes to bed at 8 PM. They try to be quiet in the morning, but you will likely hear them moving around upstairs during your stay.



We recently redesigned the entire space including a brand new rain shower! You get the character of the old home but the perks of an updated space! We made sure to include all the essentials for you as well to make you as comfortable as possible. With a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and more, it has plenty to offer you! We have also included a cute yellow bistro set outside for you! It`s such a great spot for enjoying your morning coffee.



After a full day of exploring, kick back and relax in the extremely comfortable memory foam king bed that is fitted with luxury hotel quality linens that are seriously comfortable.



Please note that the ceilings in the space are not super high in the bathroom area, making it feel a little low for someone who is taller. Please keep that in mind when booking.



Work from home or be entertained with high speed wifi and large smart TV. Stream your favorites on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and more!



There is plenty of free street parking nearby if you have a vehicle, although not needed when staying in such a location.

Decent but the people above this unit have a child and there was a lot of noise from morning till they slept. The propwrty is essentially in the basement of a home and the floor above must be there main family room. Luckily we we're at home a lot. However, the mornings were very noisy.

I REALLY wanted to love this place….but didn’t.

Overall this property looked amazing online and in full retrospect it was indeed that. Just fine. There were a couple of issues that I was disappointed about. First and probably most important, the door to the property looked like it had recently sustained a break-in. After we checked in we noticed the door jam falling apart and the front door would not stay closed unless it was locked. And by locked, the only thing left to hold the deadbolt shut was the inside trim of the door. We contacted the property manager right away Friday night when we arrived and they said it would be tough to get someone there Friday night but asked if Saturday was ok. We said yes. Well Saturday came and went and we left Sunday without seeing anyone. We used the tv console to block the door closed at night. It was super disappointing. My other concern was the bathroom. It didn’t say anywhere in the listing to my recollection that the height of the ceiling would be an issue but if you are taller than 6’3 you would have to duck your entire time in the bathroom. I’m 6’3 and my head scraped the entire time. It did have some positives. The location was awesome and plenty of free street parking but unfortunately if I was in the city again, I would look elsewhere.

MESSY START TO VACAY

When we arrived, the entry code did not work. We needed an additional character to enter. Management did not pick up phone right away so we were left wondering how to enter. Fortunately they did call back within 5 minutes. THEN the room was not prepared for guests. The bed was unmade and towels were on the floor. We left for dinner and stalled a while at a bar until things were cleaned up. We wanted to cancel and go to a hotel and were told-- no refund. And no discount for the inconveniences.

Nice place close to downtown Austin

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood about a 10 minute drive from the downtown area. Parking was not an issue as there was plenty on the street out front. As mentioned in the description, there is a family living in the connected home and while you do hear them some during the day, I didn’t consider it a bother. Not a peep at night. Plenty of items are provided for anticipated needs. I was delighted to find paper plates and towels after my meal delivery left them behind. I also appreciated the detailed house manual I could access on my phone. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again if I come back to Austin.
