Of course, you’ll want to keep going into downtown where the pulsating music scene and eclectic art installations give life to every street. When retiring back at the home after long days of exploring, there’s no place better than the back yard offering comfortable outdoor seating on the patio and a play structure with slide and swings certain to be a hit with the little ones. Whip up a favorite cocktail or pour a glass of wine and unwind in the fresh air while the sun sets on another perfect vacation day.

The area is diverse and holds the authenticity that Austin is so proud of. You’ll be within easy reach of Austin’s popular attractions like the Texas State Capitol, Congress Bridge Bats, and the Greetings from Austin Mural. Zilker Park, which houses the famous Barton Springs Pool, offers access to paddle board and kayak rentals, and central Lady Bird Lake and nature trails boast a two-mile loop perfect for exercise or a relaxing stroll. Be sure to visit the live music bars and clubs on 6th street, a part of Downtown Austin that earned the city the nickname of “Live Music Capitol of the World.”
