An incredible vantage point of Texas Hill Country is yours to savor at this 3BR, 2BA house (sleeps 6) with walls of windows and a deck that runs the entire width of the home, taking full advantage of the view.

Just 15 minutes from downtown Austin and less than a mile from Hill Country favorites like BBQ joints, wine bars, cafes, and more!

INSIDE THE HOUSE

This home is a prime example of the Hill Country Contemporary architectural style. In the lodge-like living area, find beam ceilings, hardwood floors, and plush furniture, all centered around a stone fireplace and astounding views of Hill Country through a wall of windows.

There’s also a large flat screen TV in this space. The adjacent dining area seats 11 and it, too, faces these second-to-none views. (Wait until you see sunsets from up here!)

The kitchen awaits your group meals, with gleaming stainless appliances, plenty of counter space, and custom cabinets fully stocked with cookware and dishes for your group.

Each of the home’s 3 bedrooms has sliding-door access to the incredible deck and big views of Hill Country. Options include a king-size master suite with attached bath, a 2nd bedroom with two twin beds, and a queen-size 3rd bedroom.

The deck will fast become your favorite spot at this rental – maybe in the entire Austin area! All of Hill Country stretches before you from up here, and the view only gets better as the day goes on.

Please note: The laundry room is shared with a long-term tenant, who lives on-site in the home attached via the laundry room only.

This is a quiet neighborhood and very noise sensitive. Quiet hours are between 9:30pm and 7am. No events or parties are allowed on-site. You will be reported if the noise levels are too loud or there is a party taking place.

THE LOCATION

This is the best of Hill Country! Secluded and quiet – and with a king’s view of the entire countryside – but still just 15 minutes from downtown Austin. Great for group getaways, you can divide your time between adventures in the city, quiet time at home, and outings to Hill Country favorites like The Grove Wine Bar and The County Line for BBQ & steak, both just a half-mile from this rental.

My partner and I traveled to Austin as I had a medical procedure that required quite a long stay close to the medical center before we were given the all-clear to head home. This home is in a beautifu, peaceful, and quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, the house is well laid out, and the view truly is beautiful. Close to many lovely restaurants and other amenities such as grocery stores, pharmacies etc. It is a perfect place to rest, recharge and recover in comfort from surgery♡ We will definitely be back to enjoy the home again, and next time, explore Austin.

The house was lovely, clean and had everything you could want or need. We loved the view. Our frustrations came with the management company Vacasa. I messaged via VRBO to ask if an early arrival was possible. We would have been happy with 1 hour earlier as we had an 18-hour drive. It took 12 hours to receive a reply and it was denied. Then the WiFi didn't work, and I texted with a Vacasa agent (who was very helpful) before we both decided a tech would need to come out. No one did and no one responded to my inquiry later but then suddenly it worked. I texted and messaged via VRBO 3 times over 2 days about where to put our garbage as there was no trash can and the garage was locked. I NEVER received a response but one morning a garbage can appeared in the driveway. I texted and messaged twice about check out instructions and did not receive a response but then received an automated email with instructions. I don't think I would rent with Vacasa as the management company again. Too frustrating.

The property is very pretty, clean and has an awesome view. Check in was easy. Our only comment is that the small bedroom with twin beds does not cool, and with 100+ degree weather, it did not cool down even at night. The system should probably be checked.
