East Austin is known as one of America's hippest areas. A short walk to all Austin has to offer, one block from Cesar Chavez, and four from East 6th, the area offers great restaurants, coffee shops, music venues, bars, retail, studios and art galleries. The light rail is a few minute walk; pedicabs are readily available and a bike rental shop is a few blocks away. Lady Bird Lake, green belts and riverfront parks are a short walk to the south.
