"Overall it was adequate for our needs. The bed is a full size, not a queen as stated and the 2 flights of stairs were... a LOT for us to tramp up & down with luggage but the unit itself and location were clean and quiet."

I enjoyed the central location for exploring mid coast Maine over 5 days, meeting many lovely people, including the hosts."

"We had a great time staying at this location. The listing was correct. Everything was clean, well thought-out, and thorough. The layout of the space was funky (as are most old houses in Maine) but useful. We had no issues with heat, water, electricity, internet, or anything else. Cabinets, shelves, and drawers were labeled for ease of finding things. It was well-stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, and the like. Appliances were functional. "Well appointed clean, comfortable apartment for myself and 3 colleagues. The only thing I would say is that there is one enormous bedroom and then a mid size room that is connected by a sliding barn door from a very small room without a window. This small room has the trundle bed. Might be perfect for a family- it was a little tough for 4 adults. Other than that is was great and Carmen and her husband were wonderful hosts!"

They even offered to provide a ride to and from the venue! While we didn’t need their assistance with the drive, their support felt genuine and heartfelt.
