Modern, large, open plan 1 bedroom apartment

This spacious 1 bedroom apartment provides everything you need for a super comfortable stay, as well being located 5 minutes away from both ferry teminals, restaurants, shops and many fabulous vineyards. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ although no need to worry about breakfast as a light breakfast, tea and coffee will be provided for you. The large roof top deck provides a great place to sit, relax and take in the sea views and fire up the Webber. The oven, cook top and dishwasher are perfect for cooking light meals and laundry facilities are available.

Double glazing and a heat pump provide year round comfort.

In the park adjoining the property you will find childrens playground and direct access to the very safe swimming beach. We are also just minutes way from Oneroa, Little Oneroa and Palm Beaches.

While there is only one bedroom, we have comfortable double sofa bed in the common area for additional guests

While we do live on site, the apartment is very private. We are more than happy to assist you in any way we can, but will also respect your privacy.
If we are available, we can provide transport for you to and from the ferry.

Fabulous Waiheke Apartment

We were pleasantly surprised with the Surfdale Apartment. So modern and so very spacious. We were over on Waiheke for a family wedding which was only 10mins drive away. It’s only a few minutes walk to the Surfdale Shops which provided us with all we needed. A short walk down to the beach, connecting to the esplanade walk around to the next bay. The yoghurt and granola left for our breakfast was unexpected but greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this as a great stay when visiting the island.

Modern apartment need hire car

Apartment is spacious, modern and has a lovely indoor outdoor flow plus private spa pool. Great for relaxing but main bedroom backs onto busy Rd. Our hire car was important to get around the island to the nice beeches etc…. The apartment was a good base but quite expensive.

Surfdale Apartment

My wife and I would stay here again. The pictures did not do this place justice for the room and views we had. Please add a photo of the roof top area as this is a winner. This is a large apartment with a small bedroom but large open plan living space. I have only marked down a few areas as per the rating questions asked. We never saw the property manager but didn't need to. They left us to ourselves and we had no issues. The Weber BBQ on the rooftop was actually very dirty and needed a good clean and a "burn off" afterwards which I did, but may have just been an oversight. A little maintenance and care here would be good, but didn't detract from the cleanliness of the rest of the apartment. Small fridge/freezer tray for anyone staying a length of time, but given the layout not much can be done here, and the bathroom is small but completely functional, and again not much can be done about the layout. Overall this place did exceed our expectations.

Long weekend stay

The property was very clean and well presented. The deck on a nice day or evening is a great place to chill out with the spa pool, or to enjoy a beer or wine, a BBQ and the view was lovely. Easy walking distance to restaurants / bars and a convenience store. Would definitely book here without hesitation if visiting Waiheke again.

Relaxing Stay

This was a nice relaxing stay on Waiheke Island. We were really happy with our accommodation - clean and modern. Pleased we had our car so we could dine at the restaurants in Oneroa (there was nothing close). Just a note that there are three flights of stairs to get to the apartment. We were OK with this but worth noting for those who may not be so mobile. Hosts were relaxed and just left us to it. A perfect, relaxing holiday

CANUCKS IN WAIHEKE

Lovely stay in Waiheke after a long flight. Location close to local eateries, wineries, groceries. Great hot tub and lovely evenings under ths stars, fabulous countryside and people.

Amazing accommodation and wonderful hosts

We had a wonderful time in Kay and Peter's amazing apartment. Super clean, well equipped and a really handy location. Easy to reach by bus! Apartment is huge with a great outdoor space and private spa pool. Kay and Peter are wonderful hosts and we can only highly recommend this accommodation. We will be back!

Great spot, tons of space

Excellent for a couple, easy to get to and from. We had a car but it is on the bus route too if needed. A huge living area with comfortable furniture to relax in after our busy days out and about. We would stay here again. Light sleepers might find road noise from 6am an issue however. Not much overnight traffic though

Better than the photos

Beautifully presented apartment, with everything you need - we really enjoyed our time here! The Chromecast meant we could log into our Netflix when the weather turned bad (luckily at the end of our trip), and the spa was a nice touch also. The building defirniely does make some weird noises, but if you close both doors to the bedroom it helps! We would stay here again for sure. It was lovely.

Great short break location

Lovely airy and bright apartment, and well equipped. Excellent location if you are travelling by bus on the island as Surfdale is on most bus routes. Plus there is a general store, cafe, bakery and pub just a short walk away. Friendly hosts. Highly recommended!

Minimoon at waiheke

Just right! Highly recommend So fresh and clean and well organised. A very spacious place, larger than I thought and it has a really nice outlook from the deck and main room The spa was such a great addition too! They even provided us with an amazing granola that I’m still craving 🤭 That was a lovely touch Thankyou! Easy short bus trip from the ferry ( I suggest getting a bus “hop card” from Auckland first if you don’t have one, or the store down the rd) It made it so easy and cheap to get around the island. A short 5 min walk to the bus stop and store and lovely French cafe and local. We were also able to postpone our dates by a day as our first flight was cancelled which was such a relief and so kind! Not every host would have done this 🤗❤️ 10/10 The only cons would be that they only had plunger coffee (no instant) and no dish cloths to wipe the bench. 🤭 Probably just misplaced But we brought some So no biggy! Pretty hard place to fault. 🙌👍☀️🌎🙌🌴 Thanks again From Mel and Troy xx
