"The Links Hotel is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. We stayed in the newer building and when we walked into our room my first response was how much I loved the colors. Our room had a view of Royal Dornoch Golf Course. The bed was comfortable, the sitting area very nice and situated to the view. The huge bathroom was spacious and luxurious. We arrived to two little glass bottles of an Auld Fashioned with shortbread—yummy! There is an espresso machine and tea service outside the rooms...

"We received a nice greeting on arrival when checking in. Our room was okay but in need of some TLC. Two of the four windows would not open which in the current hot spell wasn’t good. The staff serving us when we ate were nothing special and didn’t really try to make us feel welcome, in fact one was quite surly. On checking out the poor guest relations continued without any engagement from the receptionist."

"Pleasant traditional Highland Hotel. Friendly and efficient check in. Bar well stocked with pleasant adjoining lounge. The venison dinner special was excellent. A good stopping point on way north ."

"The room was well appointed and the good and service in the restaurant excellent. The only feedback I have is the shower over the bath could be difficult for an older person to safely get in and out of and check in times are not always convenient for weary travellers..when we arrived at 3.40pm after travelling from Northumberland and absolutely needing the bathroom, the hosts made us wait 20 minutes before opening the door."

"Room and bathroom small but comfortable. Dinner was very average. Breakfast was good."
