"We had a pleasant stay the place was a little run down however the staff were great as was the food, it advertised a candle lit dinner but it was not, there was a pianist playing nice music though, we were a little disappointed at the end of our stay when they didnt tell us about the £35 service charge for the 4 drinks they served thought this was a bit naughty,"

"We got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. "

The reason I gave a poor review rating overall was because the fire alarm went off at 12:50 am and then rang intermittently for 45 minutes because apparently the Staff could not override a fault on the control panel or something like that. "I so want this place to succeed! It’s in the most picturesque village, but needs some TLC after a string of management changes. New team comes in August. The bedrooms are clean, small, very comfortable and well designed. Current staff are lovely, but they’re leaving in 2 weeks."
