"The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. The Chamley Arms around the corner was very welcoming but we just missed out on being able to eat there as they are starting serving meals in July. However we...

"Cottage lovely and warm when we arrived. Could not get our heads around the wood burn. Bed is a touch low and bottom frame and drawers under bed likely to cause serious damage to toes and feet.Was very cosy."

"Very convenient for town and only a few steps away from the Royal Oak pub. Stayed here as my mother lives around the corner. Would recommend. Easy access to the A66 and the Lakes only 40 minutes away. Locals very friendly."

"Loved the welcome board of cheese, snacks and drinks, the attention to detail like quality towels and a dyson hairdryer, and an amazing mattress, shower, bath and view to boot! Highly recommended I would stay again in a heartbeat."
