Villa Nikolas is located in Kefalas, Crete. This detached vacation
rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps up to 7
people with 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. There is a private pool (West
Facing) with barbecue. Walking distance to the Restaurants.
Layout

Villa Nikolas is a wonderful blend of charming traditional features
together with modern comfort. Local stone has been used for the
fireplace and the decorative frames surrounding all of the doors and
windows.
The villa has 2 floors. On the ground floor, entering the house there
is a comfortable living and dining area, connected to an open plan
fully equipped kitchen. Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms (1
double and 1 twin bedroom) and a bathroom.
Upstairs, there is a double + single bed bedroom with ensuite bathroom
and two terraces.

Living Room
The living room has a ornamental fireplace, dining area, comfortable
sofas, DVD Player, TV and Free Wi-Fi. There are patio doors to the pool
terrace.

Kitchen
The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine,
dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also
a barbecue outside.

Villa Nikolas has 3 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed and 1 Single Bed. En
Suite Bathroom

required, payable with the accommodation balance or six weeks before

Der Pool ist nicht beheizt. Das Sofa ist zu klein und überall fehlt ein Stuhl. Die Anfangsausstattung war dürftig.

Disappointed

On arrival there were power points not working and hanging off wall. The villa was clean but had mould in the bathroom. The kitchen work tops were infested with ants which never went away. There was not any cleaning materials or poo bags provided. Out side there were no sun parasols For shade. Once we complained about the power points this problem was rectified quickly. The 2 balconies on the 1st floor did not had any table and chairs which was a pity as it would have been nice to site out on. Early morning we were woken up by the workman from the boulders yard opposite except on Sunday.

Aufenthalt Villa Nicolas

Alles in einem war der Aufenthalt sehr gut. Schöner großer und sauberer Pool mit Aussenbereich. Das man nur ab 9 bis 8 in den Pool darf stand leider auf keiner Internetseite. Die Villa hat ihren Nutzen erfüllt, da wir im August da wahren ,wahren wir ohnehin die meiste Zeit am Pool oder am Meer. Sauberkeit der Villa war in Ordnung, hier und da Spinnenweben und leider sehr sehr viele Ameisen in den Bädern und die komplette Küche voll. haben uns ein Spray gekauft, danach wurde es besser. Ansonsten war die Lage der Villa top. Hatten allerdings auch einen Mietwagen. Die kleinen Geschäfte sind natürlich viel teurer als die großen Supermärkte. Für manche Artikel bezahlst du in einem kleinen Laden 5€ dann gehst du in den Laden nebenan und bezahlst für den selben Artikel nur noch 2€. Aber die Leute müssen sich ja auch über Wasser halten. Es sind 5 Villen relativ nah beieinander, zu unserer Zeit war auch eine Partywütige Gruppe da, die von mittags bis spät in die Nacht laut Musik gehört haben. Ansonsten wäre es sehr ruhig gewesen, je nachdem welche Villa man hat. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Woche dort. Und Richard hat alsbaldig jede meiner Nachrichten beantwortet. Was noch zu erwähnen wäre, an dem Schlüssel für die Villa war eine Karte die man in der Villa einstecken musste damit der Strom anging. Also hat man die Villa verlassen ging leider auch die Klimaanlage nicht und man kam in eine überhitzte Villa zurück allerdings sind in der Gegend auch viele Stromausfälle.

Prachtige villa en locatie

Het inchecken verliep wat moeizaam omdat de GPS-locatie niet exact klopte. Er staan 5 vrijwel identieke villa's in 2 straatjes. De onze stond in een zijstraatje dat niet werd aangegeven. Een kleine plattegrond zou hier uitkomst bieden. Het telefonisch contact dat nodig was verliep vlekkeloos. De villa is prima evenals het zwembad. Wat wij erg jammer vonden was de snoeiharde bedden. De villa moet een paar ton gekost hebben endannus het pound foolish om er bedden van een paar honderd euro in te zetten. Kom op, dit kan echt veel veel beter. Omdat wij maar met 3 personen waren hebben we de matrassen van de andere bedden gebruijt om het iets comfortabeler te maken. Verder was het verblijf perfect en een absolute aanrader.

Lovely villa - the pool was great

We loved our stay here - as per photo and description. Pool was highlight. There is a local shop and two restaurants within slow 10 min walk. We had a car which I would say is essential if you want to see more of Crete. Pool towels and bathroom towels provided but nothing else so you need to go to shops as soon as you arrive. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful holiday

Georgioupolis in Crete is one of our favourite places in the world. We decided to stay a bit further a field in Kefalas and it was beautiful. The Villa is large and simple, with a gorgeous and much used pool. Large out door space with a bbq and plenty of seating and sunbeds. Inside is simple but just what we needed. There is no welcome pack of food or simple ingredients in the cupboard on arrival so you do have to buy everything. However the local shops in the village are great to visit and we picked up plenty and more, including local olive oil, honey and fresh bread. There are 3 tavernas within a 5 minute walk as well as the Bio Market. One of the tavernas had a play area next to it which was perfect for our 3 children. Georgioupolis is a 20 minute drive, and we spent many days at the beach there, although Almyrida is also only a 10 minute drive. Our pool.and villa was cleaned regularly and we were given fresh towels and bedding twice during our stay. The lady who cleaned our villa was lovely and we are really thankful for her. I couldnt recommend it more. Thank you for a wonderful family holiday. We will be back x

Großes aber ungemütliches Haus; Pool Anfang Oktober eiskalt; Pumpe (Zeitschaltuhr) für den Pool sehr laut zu ungünstigen Zeiten (Essenszeiten, Bettruhe); Ausblick linke Seite auf Bauhof (frühmorgens Baustellenverkehr); mehrere Steckdosen aus der Wand - für Kleinkinder nicht zu empfehlen; Weg zum Strand wesentlich länger als angegeben.

Nice clean property but nothing provided to start

Property was very clean. Mid week housekeeper was unexpected but nice. Only issue we had was that there was nothing provided as far as toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper no starter coffee. It was bare. So on arrival from the airport we had to go shopping immediately. Most properties provide a day or two of products and at least some spices etc. flying in does not allow us to bring everything.

Disappointed and far from luxury

Tired, dated and very low standard villa. Extremely disappointed. Not fit for 7 people. Cleaners didnt show up mid week. Main living area not has shown in pictures. Things not working, towels and sheets old, threadbare and greying.

Brilliant Holiday & Villa

We stayed in Villa Nicholas for 2 weeks and loved every minute of it, The pool was brilliant and we had great fun all day, Sunbeds were there too and everything we needed was there for us. This is our 5th time in Kefalas and it just gets better, The weather was brilliant every day and with our villa being so good we rarely went into other areas to eat except Chania on the odd occasion.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, alles war wie beschrieben und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren mit 7 Personen vor Ort, was von der Bettenaufteilung sehr gut ging. Allerdings ist zu beachten, dass es mit 7 oder sogar 8 Personen im Wohn- und Essbereich sehr eng wird. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön und das Becken genial groß. Chania und Rethymno sind in jeweils 45 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir können den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr empfehlen und können uns durchaus vorstellen, sie noch einmal zu buchen.

Beautiful villa in lovely setting

Great property in lovely location. The smell of Jasmine hits you as soon as you arrive, it smells like a posh spa, just delightful, and surrounded by olive groves. Very peaceful, short walk through nice traditional village where everyone friendly. Pool towels were provided and there is also a freezer which is great. Note though there are other villa Nikolas and Google maps says this is Nicolas with a 'c' not 'k'...beside Villa Eva when you are travelling here. We made mistake on arrival and went to wrong villa, or use actual grid reference they give you, but apart from that fantastic time! We had a 5/7/9 year old and it was perfect for them. They could all stand in shallow half of pool. Not suitable for very young children unless you supervise them on the stairs as a child would fit through the banisters. But for our age was fine as they are old enough on the stairs, but I perhaps would not come with toddlers. Highly recommend.
