"A wonderful villa in a great village. Mrs Fruso is a amazing and helpful housekeeper/host. Having 2 pools was a real treat and the bottom one is very long so good for a few lengths to keep fit. Restaurants a short walk down the hill and a shop. Beach 5 mins away by car in Almyrida. We did scuba diving there. Also lots of beach bars and restaurants. We went on a boat cruise in Kalyves. "We had the most amazing holiday in Almyrida. Villa Iannis was beautiful and the restaurants served great food. We particularly liked Psaros and Francois. The villa was spotless, the pool was bigger than we anticipated and Jan was so kind, helpful and just very lovely. We will be back! The only issue for us was the layout. You can’t see the pool from the villa and there were a lot of steps but our children are 11 and 14 so it was fine for us. Thank you Jan, Dimitra and the Almyrida team ❤️😊"

"Villa Tamos is a wonderful, well-equipped, spacious villa in a beautiful setting and we absolutely loved our time there. The pool is as perfect as the view and grounds and Stuart and Lorraine were super-helpful hosts. The villa is well located for exploring Crete and the restaurants/bars/shops of Almyrida are only ten minutes drive away. There is a long unmade track to the property, which needs driving with care, but it's well worth it, and we hope to return one day! Thank you for everything....

"Spectacular views from poolside and villa balcony. Well equipped kitchen not lacking for anything. Spacious lounge and dining area. The air conditioning unit probably needs a service in this room. Bedrooms were excellent sized beds and comfy firm matresses. Airconditioning was perfect. Pool was a great size and always quiet and the views towards the sea were spectacular. Behind the house is a dramatic mountain backdrop."

"This is such a beautiful spot - peaceful, great view, 10 minutes from the beach and such a comfortable well appointed apartment. The terrace and garden were delightful too and we looked forward to coming back every day. Patrick was a very helpful and attentive host. He met us when we arrived to give detailed directions. We would love to go back."

"Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. Did think more effort could be put into a welcome basket maybe salt pepper...
