This three-bedroom, two-bathroom second floor apartment is situated inside the medieval city walls of the old town of Annecy, just inside the Perrière gate. Spread over 92m², it is set up to welcome six guests.

The decor has funky contemporary touches and there are subtle references to swans throughout. Real swans are to be found just down the road, on the canals and the lake. Bedrooms are spacious, there is lots of storage space, and a great open plan kitchen/dining lounge space.

All in all, we think you and your group will be as enthusiastic as we are about this amazing property! Enjoy!

Please note there is no lift in this ancient building, and there are 32 steps from street level to the front door of the apartment. There is no A/C system per se, but standing fans with a cooling system that helps during eventual heat waves.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Excellent Option in Annecy!

Over the years we have rented many vacation homes, and this is easily the nicest, best located apartment we've found! Right in the heart of Old Town Annecy, we could walk to everything we wanted (e.g., fresh pastries, ice cream, shops, and restaurants). And the in-unit laundry, dishwasher, and three bedrooms made a week-long stay for our group of 5 was very comfortable. The unit's parking spot also was a short uphill walk from the apartment.In addition to enjoying all that Lake Annecy has to offer, we visited Geneva (an hour away) and Lyon (2 hours away), and we had a wonderful day of spring skiing in Chamonix (an hour away, plus some with traffic). Views from the ski lifts were spectacular!Thank you, Laurent, for being so easy to reach and for providing such helpful recommendations. (And so sorry for misplacing your key ring!)Highly recommend this place!

Great rental and a must in Annecy

One you will want to go back to

We had a magnificent stay at Swansdoor from the beginning to the end. The location of the apartment was perfect, it was well fitted out with all you would need (including a washer and dryer) and the village was beautiful. Laurent was very responsive to all communications, he has considered all aspects for ensuring a great stay. There is an actual dedicated car parking spot within walking distance. The only thing to consider are the stairs to reach the apartment but it worth the climb for the chance to stay,

Amazing place!

It's a beautiful apartment in the heart of old town. While the general hubbub of people going by in the summer can be quite loud in the evening, the windows are completely soundproof when closed! It's a perfect location to use as a home base to explore Annecy.

Parfaitement situé

Mêlant harmonieusement décoration moderne et charme de l’ancien, cet appartement possède 3 belles chambres + 2 salles de bains ce qui, pour les 3 couples que nous étions, était parfait mais en plus il est excellemment situé : dans la vieille ville et ses canaux, proche des petits restos, des magasins et des commerces de bouche, des locations de vélos, proche du lac, du parc de l’Europe .... Sehr schöne Wohnung.

Alles entspricht der Beschreibung. Sehr sauber. Check-in und -out sehr einfach per WhatsApp. Lediglich beim Parkplatz ist zu beachten, dass das Auto nicht höher als ca. 1,90 m sein darf. Ein hohes Auto oder ein Auto mit Dachbox passt nicht. Der Parkplatz ist auch sehr schmal.

Modern apartment in the heart of old Annecy

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It has all the elements of a modern, updated space but in a beautiful old building in the heart of the city. They even had baby supplies (bath tub, monitors, etc) on hand which was wonderfully helpful with our 3 month old. Alexandra was very responsive, and made checking in and out easy and flexible. Be prepared to lug your suitcases up a steep hill and flights of stairs, but it will be worth it! Highly recommend!

Amazing home in heart of annecy

We absolutely loved this property! We have stayed in many Airbnb’s and this was by far our favorite. Beautiful space and furniture, very spacious, and beds were amazingly comfortable. It was extremely clean and there was every amenity provided - fluffy towels, all pots and pans, coffee, tea, etc. The WiFi was also very fast. The location and check in was perfect - exactly in the heart of annecy with all the great restaurants and gelato shops right below us. Alexandra was very accommodating and met us at the parking garage and walked us through everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Modern but a step away from Medieval Town

What a wonderful apartment! We were six adults and had a fantastic time. The apartment is modern with a ski theme which we all enjoy since we ski. But then you go through the door and you are in the middle of a charming medieval town with an abundance of flowers and canals. The lake is absolutely beautiful and one can spend an entire day just walking around the lake. The apartment had all the amenities needed including coffee and tea to get us started. It was immaculate and easy to keep clean, even with a large group. It was extremely comfortable and enabled us to visit in the evening and share breakfast in the mornings. Cooking was fun as there is everything you need to make dinner....but eating out is so enjoyable as they have some great restaurants. We had two cars and they provided free parking for both. Alexandra was an absolutely wonderful hostess. She provided information on things to do so we could plan our trip better. When we arrived, she met us and helped with our luggage. She even made calls to find grocery stores and a garage open when we got in on a holiday. She even shipped items to Paris we had forgotten. Her assistance was over the top and she is to be commended for attention to detail.

The apartment was beautiful and very clean!

My family absolutely loved this apartment. It was spotless and in a great location and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again. The property management company was also extremely responsive and helpful. We had a family of four and two grandmothers and were very comfortable.

Amazing Apartment in a Great Location!

We arrived at Le Swansdoor apartment in Annecy during a big festival, Retours des Alpages! It was a fabulous celebration with a parade and dancing and music and we watched the entire thing from our lovely apartment! Perfect location right in the heart of the old city. The building is a 14th century structure with a very small door at the entrance. When you walk in, it's like you are walking into a medieval castle. Once up the stairs and into the apartment, we were so excited. The apartment has three bedrooms a good size living room and small kitchen and a master suite at the end of the hallway. It was VERY clean and a great size for 6 people and was quite spacious. It had everything you would need in the kitchen and there were enough linens for all. It also had a washer and dryer. The windows were sound proof so there was no noise from the outside. It was warm but the rooms had fans so we didn't need to open windows at night. We absolutely loved it and will come back again. The property managers Melanie and Cedric were so responsive and easy to work with. We met Cedric on time and he let us into the apartment and showed us what we needed to know. Oh and by the way, the shower pressure was awesome, not always in the case in Europe! Thanks again and we HIGHLY recommend this gem! The location is the best ever and the apartment is awesome. We didn't have young children with us, but it seems as though they have all the right equipment and entertainment for kids if you bring them. Also, at the foot of the door to the street is the best ice cream shop! Don't miss!

Very quiet once the windows are closed, price to pay to be in the center of the town. Extremely clean, well located, very nice furniture, awesome bathrooms, nice kitchen.
