If you're longing to take a step back in time when Florida was about lazy beach days and ocean breeze evenings then look no further!
The Seashell Cottage is where you belong! Built in 1925, during the historical age of the roaring 20's, not long after the mainland bridge was completed no longer requiring a boat to access the island.

The adventure begins with the lovely, yellow exterior adorned with white Bermuda shutters and a vintage peacock blue front door, and it continues through the charming home with built-in shelving and wainscoting interior. It continues with a romantic, short stroll down Palmetto Ave to the breath taking gulf beach or walk down Gulf Dr and discover a variety of local restaurants and island stores.

The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking in or you can make use of the gas grill out back. The back porch is surround by lush tropical foliage and is the perfect place to enjoy your meals while catching a gulf breeze and breathing in the salt air! After a day in the sand, the outdoor shower is refreshing delight.

The master bedroom offers a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom with shower. The guest room offers a set of twin size beds and it's own ensuite bathroom. The cozy coastal living room has a pull out couch for additional sleeping and is the perfect spot for a fun night in and movie watching on the 40" smart TV.

You can't beat the accommodations this home offers! Towels, linen, fresh sheets and amenities are here including , washer/dryer, cable, complimentary WiFi and a fenced in back yard for your furry family members.

Dogs are considered part of the family and are welcome. Pet fee is $200 per pet plus taxes.

This cottage was great for staying close to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. Everything was clean and stocked with all the essentials. The only downside is how close it is to the main road and how much traffic noise you hear in the main bedroom. Expect to be woken up very early every morning by the sound of cars driving. They are also building two new homes on the street almost directly in front of this house. Nothing the owners can control but just something to be aware of when booking. They start construction right at 7am since the quiet hours run from 10pm-7am. That is not an exaggeration either. The worker literally started hammering or drilling right at 7am every morning. The house itself is fantastic and once construction is completed then that shouldn't be a problem but it is something to be aware of when booking.

We rented the SeaShell Cottage for the weekend of our daughter's wedding for our son, daughter - in - law and their daughter. It was only 2 blocks from the Venue - The Sandbar which was very convenient for them with an infant. The cottage was super clean and just down right adorable! We would definitely recommend and would love to return soon.
