"2nd time at the Kissel. Overall the hotel is nice and clean. A smaller 7 floor hotel which I like with a restaurant in the lobby that has limited hours. The rooms are nice and clean and well appointed. One of the recommendations I have for the Kissel is the staff are not as pleasant as one expect from the Hyatt. When I was checking out the front desk person asked me if I was someone else when the bill clearly said my name that was put under my door that I gave to him. He also checked me in and...

"In town for work overnight. The manager was very helpful and service oriented......The Room was so peaceful working at the desk in my room hearing the birds. Great food in the Bar/restaurant or sent to should to try the food its great . I will defenitley stay there again should the need arise "

"Parking required giving the desk clerk our keys so he could park our car. That was a little odd. The room was comfortable and cozy. The “balcony with beverages”was just a rooftop patio with no chairs. The beverage cart was empty and set aside. It looked like it wasn’t used recently so that was disappointing. "

"Excellent service and location. Gorgeous hotel. Good parking, although almost no spots on Friday 5pm. Had trouble with swiping my card in/out at parking gate, wish there was an attendent on duty - I paid extra to get out, twice, since the scanner didn't work, there were cars behind me and no way to turn around. Other than that, would definitely return."

"This was my first visit to the Berkeley City Club Hotel, and I absolutely fell in love with it. The building is a historic Berkeley landmark, beautifully preserved and refreshingly unspoiled.
