Serene Sounds is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Anakiwa holiday home in the Marlborough Sounds. Set on a tranquil, spacious section, this private haven is the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle and admire the view!

This 2 storey Anakiwa holiday home includes sunny open plan living upstairs. The well presented interior is the perfect backdrop to your laid back getaway, with a fireplace for cosy winter nights... Sky TV is on hand for any indoor days. When the weather is warmer, unwind on the deck and gaze at the bush and sea vistas - this is the ultimate perch to dine al fresco and soak up the sun and fresh air!

Upstairs at this Anakiwa accommodation, bedroom 1 has a queen bed, while bedroom 2 includes a king bed. Downstairs, bedroom 3 is fitted with a king bed, and bedroom 4 has a single bunk set plus a queen bed. A sofa bed is also available in the lounge when required - this is an easy option for couples and family groups, with 2 bathrooms - one on each floor.

When you are not enjoying the beautiful section, set out on adventure - there are an array of fantastic bays and beaches to visit. Plus, Havelock is a 20 minute drive way, Picton is a 30 minute drive away, and Blenheim is just under an hour away...

Fabulous family holiday

Really enjoyed our stay in this spacious holiday home in a beautiful location. It had everything we needed and I loved that it was easy walking distance to the water. Fabulous view from deck!

Family get together

Good property and happy with the standards of cleanliness. Unfortunately the BBQ wasn't working properly (a note had been left on the fridge). So we only found out on arrival which was a pain because we had planned to have a BBQ on Saturday. This meant we had to use the oven. Again, this wasn't brilliant. There were no serving utensils in the kitchen which was a right pain in the proverbial. Not sure whether the steps of the deck at the front of the house are legal or safe. Very steep.

Great stay

Suited a three generations family very well - great space and location. The main living area is upstairs and not so easy for the very elderly. Great place and we really enjoyed our stay
