Wonderful trip in Amstedam! This prperty is exactly as depicted in listing, very clean and optimal location. Neighborhood felt very safe. Steve was a fantastic host- kept in contact to make certain our stay was going well/ if we needed anything, gave great restaurant reviews and ordered us a taxi for our return to the airport. Great communication prior to trip, as well. Good directions on how to locate property, etc.The place was well stocked in everything, Wi-Fi was excellent, there is a Full Washer AND Full Dryer- practically unheard of! Excellent water pressure in the shower. Steve really has stocked the place with anything you may need from umbrella to iron/board to plenty of soap/detergent, cooking basics, etc. Truly a great stay and highly recommend!

Great location in the 9 streets area. Easy to pop in and out of during the day to take breaks. Nice sized for 2 people: large front room, seating for 4, well stocked kitchen, comfortable queen bed, plenty of storage for clothes. Having laundry services definitely key. Quiet - bed in back room, away from the street. Host was happy to give suggestions and answer questions.

Lovely Stay in Amsterdam

We stayed at Steve's place in Amsterdam in June. It is very centrally located and we were able to walk or take the tram to all the areas we wanted to visit. Steve was very helpful with advice for restaurants, directions from the airport and other helpful hints. The apartment suited our needs perfectly. Be aware, as with many places in the canal district, while not an issued for us, there are very steep stairs to climb to access the apartment.We would stay here again!

Lovely apartment with real Amsterdam 'vibe'! Steve's a great host - helpful and informative.The location is absolutely perfect for getting the best out of your time in Amsterdam. Love the Cafe de Pels just opposite - whether for breakfast or chilling out in the evening.

Wonderful stay,

We had a wonderful stay. Your place really met our needs, great location, able to enjoy our early breakfast with local pastries and goodies and the coffee provided by Steve, slept very comfortably and right in the middle of a great shopping area. Steve gave us some great dining suggestions (don't miss the Tapas Catala nearby). It is a narrow and steep staircase to the apartment, but we got used to it. We would stay here again and recommend to friends!

Awesome stay.

This was a great location. It was perfectly located and easy to get around. Steve is wonderfully accommodating. He provided excellent communication throughout our time there. This place is so quiet in the back, but right in the middle of everything. Stairs are thin and steep but the norm for the area. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great Location and Clean

We enjoyed our stay at Steve’s place. It was nice and quiet for us and Steve gave many recommendations on places to eat and what to see. I would stay again if we are ever in Amsterdam again. We came to see the tulips and they didn’t disappoint. We rented bikes in the Lisse area and saw them on our own and didn’t do the gardens. The train and bus are easy to navigate with the 9292 app.

Book It!

We really appreciated the personal touch of the host Steve. It is rare for a host to greet you these days & go over everything - most places we've stayed are contactless. The bed was comfy, towels large & plush, water hot, lots of hangers, good cooking supplies (although we only eat breakfast "in"), and the location was fun! Highly recommend Steve's place.

Fantastic Location, spacious

Can't say enough about the location - easy to get everywhere and so close to canals, boutiques and restaurants. It is in a quaint but busy area. The bedroom in the back is very quiet once you shut the door to the front room that faces the street. Totally recommend.One note is the property manager prefers to communicate via Whatsapp which is totally normal for Europeans. Not so much for Americans and often a red flag if you have ever been on a dating site, approached by a scammer or gotten the Nigerian prince emails where they always want to message via Whatsapp. I was hesitant at first but in this case it is totally legit.

What a wonderful place!

As extensive travelers, we often use VRBO for accommodations. I must say that Steve’s place has been one of the best. The space is everything he describes and more. Steve communicated so well from the start. From his directions to arrive as well as the time he spent checking us in to his home, was above and beyond. What a great location to the many beautiful sites of Amsterdam. I highly recommend this beautiful space.

Premier Amsterdam

The apartment is in a great location, with shops, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. My daughter and I felt very safe in the area. We also felt very much at home - the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, the front room was a great place to relax, nice shower and bathroom and all was scrupulous clean. Steve was a welcoming host who provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area and answered all my inquiries quickly and informatively. Checkin and checkout were seamless, and Steve was flexible with an early checkin as the apartment was available that day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Cozy spacious apartment in Amsterdam

Great neighborhood, lots of cafes and restaurants, shops, grocery stores, close to the tram. Has in suite laundry. Host lives on site, was very welcoming and offered many suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Would recommend!

Great host, space, location

Steve was just so helpful and communicative throughout the process. Gave us recommendations on restaurants, how to get places using public transportation, and answered any questions we had. The unit itself was amazingly large, warm, clean, and comfortable for our December travels. Loved that the living room area was in the front and had its own door so if it was loud at night (which it never was) then we can close it. Steve’s very thoughtful and had all the things we’d need to feel at home (including a good old coffee maker - not an espresso machine). Location was perfect. Cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping were minutes walk away. Would stay here again, and again, and again! Thank you Steve for your warm hospitality and lovely space.
