"We did not use Hot Tub. There were 3 doggie beds, ( we call them climbs) in the basement, that was a great addition for our dog as she loves to hang out on them. Very pet friendly, very clean. Convenient to Lexington to see all the history in the town. The drive out to the house is awesome, very remote but we still felt very safe. Deer were everywhere. Big yard for the dog to play as well. We would definitely stay here again."

"River’s Bend was one of our favorite western VA cabin stays to date. Its location is unique - remote enough for dark skies and the sounds of wildlife, with the thrill of the train when it makes its way through the tunnel under the property. The cabin is so cozy, the beds firm and very comfortable. I slept so well every night. We loved the screened in porch, and the river lookout off the tiered back deck. "Fantastic place to stay. Everything was clean and well-built, not cheap like lots of rental places I've stayed in. The owners were extremely nice! They left us muffins and set up the fire pit for us before we got there. I'd absolutely stay here again."
