"Elevator not working. Staff was good, offered to carry bags upstairs. Nice room, with balcony. Pub on site had good food, try the brownie, it was exceptional. Breakfast at this time of year was fresh cooked bacon & eggs, toast etc. couldn’t asked for anythg better from hotel. Hope they get the elevator fixed soon🙂 "

"I had the privilege of talking to the owner and the manager. They were friendly and open to suggestions. With regard to Fernie British Columbia finding a good hotel at a reasonable price is a challenge. This hotel for people who care about their budget is an excellent option. The owner has invested in the comfort of his guests such as new beds. The floors were clean and an excellent condition. The fact that there's no carpet in the units can mean a little bit noisier if you are on the bottom...

"Overall, we loved our stay. Extremely convenient location on the mountain where you can put your skis on as soon as you step out the door to glide to a chairlift. The unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Our unit had a double bunk bed in one room, but there was no ladder to the very high top bunk which made it a bit of a challenge to get to... fortunately, we had a young crew that handled it ok. We had arranged for 3 parking passes in advance, yet when we arrived, there were none left...

"The listing itself is deceptive, because it does not tell you that it is in a hotel-- a very. filled up kid / dog friendly hotel. Staff were fine but the room itself was nasty. The place is in disrepair, stains and generally yuck in all the corners etc. walls are paper thin enough you can actually hear the bathroom activities of your neighbors....."
