Deep green velvet sofas, vintage-inspired wallpaper, and the impressive stone inglenook fireplace with a cast-iron wood burner sets the scene for cosy evenings after windswept walks along the beach. Enjoy movie nights with Sky Essentials and Netflix, or simply unwind by the fire with a glass of wine in hand.
At the front of the cottage, the light-filled Orangery-style kitchen and breakfast room is the real showpiece, with its striking glass atrium which floods the space with sunshine by day and starlight by night. Cook up local produce using the well-equipped kitchen, complete with a Nespresso coffee machine and a thoughtfully stocked larder filled with herbs, spices, and essentials for your stay. It’s the perfect spot for leisurely breakfasts or long, laughter-filled dinners.
Downstairs also features a beautifully finished shower room with a large rainfall shower; stylish, fresh, and designed for comfort.
Upstairs, two elegant bedrooms continue the cottage’s blend of tradition and design flair. The main bedroom features a decorative cast-iron fireplace and a stunning ensuite bathroom adorned with William Morris artwork and vintage mid-century furniture. The second bedroom is very snug and compact, offering a calm and restful space with flexible sleeping arrangements to suit couples or families alike. Sonsy Cottage is accessed by a shared path. Please note that this is unlit.
Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Sonsy Cottage per reservation.
