"One night stop with objective of comfortable bed at low cost since I came in late. Place was clean and bed was comfortable. Basic amenities and room had microwave and refrigerator. Avoid room 1 as that was smelling like cigarettes so I got move to 8."

"I choose this hotel because it has a spa, I needed a soak after long stressful weeks at work. I emailed and called to verify it was available, they assured me it was in service. When I arrived to check in, there was a notice on the desk saying it was not available. Needless to say I was not happy."

"This room was absolutely filthy. Rat droppings in every corner and behind all furniture, blood stained blankets, IV drug use supplies in the nightstand. Staff refused to refund even though we left 15 minutes after we arrived. Expedia refused to refund despite photograph evidence and a receipt from the other model we stayed at last night. Absolutely do not recommend staying at this motel and absolutely encourage you to book via a service that will actually back the customer."

"Clean beautiful room with a great view of the lake, ducks, and geese. The restaurant is really good. I love the peacefulness. The only issue was the dogs running off the wildlife, but I also love dogs. This is a beautiful location. We will be coming back. "

"Located in between north and south bound hwy101. Several homeless people use the property as a shortcut and wander through the parking area at all times. Probably won’t stay here again."

"We have stayed at red lion in the past and have had a great time. This time we stayed at the one in coosbay oregon and were very surprised to see the condition of the place as the pictures were very nice. We asked at check in about the pool and was told it was heated and was shown where it was. The kids an us got ready and went down there, what we found was a hand written out of order sign and a pool that was so disgusting looked like it had not been cleaned in months lots of black mold in...

"We were greeted by our contact person, Gail, who is friendly and personable. And a terrific artist as you will see when you are on the property. This is a very cute, fun and artsy apartment. We used the bedroom at the front of the house and found it roomy and the bed is very comfortable. The water pressure is outstanding and the hot water arrives almost instantly. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your own food. We will definitely book a room here when we are near Winchester Bay again."
