"Overall we had a good stay and the owners are really great people! Pet friendly and nice location to access the South Sauty boat ramp.The cottage worked out for us and what we needed, but just wanted to share a few things so others can prepare: There weren't any cleaning products in the house for daily use (outside of dawn dish soap) so we bought our own to use. Not really an issue, but wanted to call it out.There aren't a lot of options for kitchen utencils. We cooked on the charcoal grill each...

"Beautiful small house which underwent a FULL remodel not long ago. Well stocked kitchen ready to cook in, amazing view of the bay, comfortable beds and furniture. Really convenient to beaches, the inter-island ferry and a couple of great places to eat. Far enough outside of Gulf Shores proper to avoid the crowds, close enough to go into town for what you need."

"I've stayed at this property before and I love it! It's exceptionally clean and the area is quiet. Being away from the noise and chaos of Gulf Shores is very nice, but it's easy to drive in to the restaurants in town.The owners are very nice and respond quickly to text messages."

"This was such a nice little gem in mentone. Our kids loved walking down to the water and playing, and feeding ducks. We made a fire for marshmallows one night and we really enjoyed the large screened in porch. It was spacious and stocked with everything we needed. "

"We saw the dolphins on day 1 and a few other times while we were there. Overall, the outside of the house needs some cosmetic repairs. The interior was great for us and our dogs. Our dogs did find every sticker bur (sp?) possible with their paws. So be wary of those and bring tweezers.Couches were good for afternoon naps! The views and dolphin sightings right by the house made this a great and relaxing Christmas vacation for us."

"The size of the house was just right for the 4 of us. Very close to the beaches. Pool was great. The shower in the master bedroom is pretty small. If your big & tall it can be challenging. But overall a very nice place. If you have any problems the owner answers pretty quickly. "

"I stayed at this hotel recently, and the lobby service was very poor. The woman who checked me in was rude and unwelcoming. Later that night, I asked about coffee, and the man at the front desk didn’t even respond verbally, he only used gestures and didn’t acknowledge me properly, which felt very disrespectful. Breakfast lacked variety and was almost the same every day. The only highlight was two members of the breakfast staff, especially a Hispanic lady who was very kind and attentive. Overall, if you are looking for friendly service, this is not the place. I would not stay here again."
