"We had a wonderful time at the Mighty Marlin. Clean and stocked with everything needed. It was cozy and a perfect little girls getaway. The access to beach was better than expected. Sooo easy! Highly recommend. "

"Overall we had a good stay and the owners are really great people! Pet friendly and nice location to access the South Sauty boat ramp.The cottage worked out for us and what we needed, but just wanted to share a few things so others can prepare: There weren't any cleaning products in the house for daily use (outside of dawn dish soap) so we bought our own to use. Not really an issue, but wanted to call it out.There aren't a lot of options for kitchen utencils. We cooked on the charcoal grill each...

"The stay was awesome. The only thing we didn’t like was the ledge where you parked. It was very easy to go right over the side. Other than that the stay was excellent! Beautiful property. The other two rooms needs a tv though. That would have been nice Probably could use new towels they were pretty hard Beds were super comfortable Even the bunkbeds were nice It should be said you will need seasoning there isn’t any at the house. You’ll need coffee also"

"My wife and I had a wonderful time at the cottage! Balpha was so welcoming and called to check in on us since we had to arrive late at night. It was a real treat getting to see DeSoto Falls from the second floor bedroom, and being so close we were able to walk there! Truly we were just in awe that this is where we were staying - the kitchen was so cute and had everything we needed to cook with, the bed were comfortable (nice soft mattress!), and there was so much space to just hang out and relax...

"This was such a nice little gem in mentone. Our kids loved walking down to the water and playing, and feeding ducks. We made a fire for marshmallows one night and we really enjoyed the large screened in porch. It was spacious and stocked with everything we needed. "

"I've stayed at this property before and I love it! It's exceptionally clean and the area is quiet. Being away from the noise and chaos of Gulf Shores is very nice, but it's easy to drive in to the restaurants in town.The owners are very nice and respond quickly to text messages."

"We saw the dolphins on day 1 and a few other times while we were there. Overall, the outside of the house needs some cosmetic repairs. The interior was great for us and our dogs. Our dogs did find every sticker bur (sp?) possible with their paws. So be wary of those and bring tweezers.Couches were good for afternoon naps! The views and dolphin sightings right by the house made this a great and relaxing Christmas vacation for us."
