"Casa Tortuga was perfect for my teen daughter and I for our spring break vacation (we are from cold, snowy northern Michigan). Very cute, cheerful community of studio-style homes in a quiet residential area. It was amazing to be right on ocean - the property is slightly elevated so the views are incredible in either direction. We climbed down the short staircase for some beautiful morning beach walks. "Great location on quiet street by quiet residential beach. Comfortable and modern place with space for whole family. Kitchen was really nasty and dirty. We had to wash everything even the drawers and holders, covered in food and debris so we could cook for our family after travelling all day. Hosts were good communicators and apologized but these things should be checked and kept to a decent standard so it was dissapointing. Pool was wonderful and landscaping around property lovely. "We had a lovely experience staying three weeks in Aguada. The house is a couple of blocks from the ocean in a quiet rural setting. We enjoyed the nicely set up veranda behind the house with comfy chairs. It was especially delightful to listen to the many birds during the day and the coqui frogs at night. Jannette, the owner, was friendly and helpful. She lives right next door so any time we needed anything she was there in literally five minutes. The house was scrupulously clean and well set up...
