  • A nice, airy apartment with panoramic sea view. There is a terrace on the kitchen + large roof terrace. The apartment has a spacious living room with kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms and a well-kept bathroom. There is an additional kitchenette with washing machine and dishwasher upstairs, just before you reach the roof terrace. The apartment is located in a cozy village, with nice restaurants and bars.
    In October 2017 the 2 swimming pools were completely renewed & restored. The apartment itself was completely repainted & given a fresh makeover in November 2017.

I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment. Everything was there that i needed, the terrace was a blessing on sunny mornings and late into the afternoon. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting somewhere quiet to relax and enjoy the walks and surroundings of Callao Salvaje. The bus stop directly outside the apartment is also a plus point and very easy to navigate the island. Thank you Patrick :)

In the main amenities were good. Stayed for a month and struggled with the sofa and chairs. Beds all good and comfortable. Being on the main bus route was a plus for us. We explored all along the coast for next to nothing. Easy to get from the airport to here by bus so no need for expensive taxis.

Good Apartment with a great view

The apartment is in a small development in a residential area with access to a swimming pool. The apartment is clean, well equipped and the roof terrace provides a great outlook to the sea. We had a great vacation, the apartment served as a great base for exploring the local beaches!

Fijne uitvalbasis met mooi uitzicht

Wij hebben als gezin (ouders + 2 kinderen van 17 en 14) 11 nachten verbleven in dit appartement. Sommige onderdelen zijn aan een opknapbeurt toe maar dit stoort ons niet. In het algemeen hebben we een prima verblijf gehad en met name veel gebruik gemaakt van het fijne dakterras en het rustige zwembad. Vanuit deze locatie is heel Tenerife goed te bereiken.

We came by bus from airport absolutely no problem. The property is 10 minutes downhill to the village and 15minutes uphill back which suited us to a tee. We are both pensioners and need to walk every day. All in all a great stay which could only have been improved by contact of any sort with Patrick

Spacious apartment with large roof terrace

Spacious, comfortable and airy apartment. Best feature the large rooftop terrace with very comfortable sun loungers. Nearest supermarket is in the village centre 750 metres away and it’s uphill on the way back, so anyone with mobility issues would definitely need a car. Just two (very brief) visits to the pool as it is not heated. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Excellent Rooftop Apartment

We stayed here as a family of four with two children and had an absolutely fantastic time. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and the standout feature for us was the amazing roof terrace—perfect for relaxing in the evenings and soaking up the outstanding views across Tenerife. It was the ideal spot for a morning coffee or evening drink.The location was also excellent—just a short walk to local shops, restaurants, and amenities, yet still mainly peaceful and quiet (some noise at night time from the traffic from the road outside). It felt like the perfect balance of convenience and calm.We would definitely recommend this apartment to other families looking for a comfortable base with a touch of something different.The only downside was the lack of communication from the owner. Which resulted in a few frantic calls to VRBO to make contact the day before we arrived. Not great when you are due to leave for holidays with a family in tow.

Très bel appartement et bien situé

Le descriptif de l'appartement correspond très bien à la réalité. La terrasse a l'étage est géniale avec une vue magnifique sur la ville, la mer, la Gomera (quand il n'y a pas de brume de chaleur :-)) et les volcans et bananeraies à l'arrière. Il a fait chaud et la piscine a été très appréciée. Seul bémols, la proximité avec la route (mais ça n'a pas embêté nos ados de dormir) et un accès à la résidence pas trop prévu... Quant à la localisation, c'était très bien : sur la côte mais pas trop près de l'effervescence touristique, et assez central par rapport aux sites à visiter. Plages très agréables à proximité. A Tenerife il y a plein de choses à voir !!!

L'appartement est correctement équipé,bien situé Je déplore un gros manque d'information de la part du propriétaire..il serait judicieux de mettre les modes d'emploi de la télévision et des appareils ménagers.. impossible de se servir de la machine à laver et de la télé.. Et il faudrait aussi expliquer comment se rendre à la piscine...et en Français s'il vous plaît

No es lo que esperaba

El apartamento es grande, lo único bueno la terraza y que es fácil de aparcar. El mobiliario esta bastante desgastado, los muebles de la cocina con cinta aislante, toallas rotas, el colchon y las almoadas son bastante incomodas... lo peor, que hay piscina pero no puedes utilizarla. Para poder ulitizarla necesitas llave que el propietatio no tiene. Despues de muchos mensajes para que me respondiera dice que han cambiado la llave y el no la tiene y que hasta finales de septiembre no viene para poder solucionarlo. Esto lo debe de avisar antes. La comunicacion con el es pesima tarda mucjo en responder

Es war im Großen und Ganzen OK. Es gab einige Mängel. Der Fernseher funktionierte nur über HDMI und Laptop. Diesen hatte ich nicht mit. Es wurde auch nicht kommuniziert. Schade. Der Eintritt zum Pool war gesperrt, so haben wir Nachbarn belästigen müssen, um baden zu können. Der Vermieter hat erst nach 2-3 Tagen geantwortet. Jedoch keine Besserung veranlasst.

Positive stay

We found the apartment to be a very good value property. Good communication prior to the arrival and very easy to access. Excellent instructions for arriving at the property. The actual property was very similar to the pictures and was as expected. You will probably need a car to access other parts of the island but Calleo Salvaje had more to it then we expected - although still quite quiet. Playa paraiso is a half hour walk which had a few bits too. Shower v. Good, bed comfy and absolutely brilliant roof terrace. There was a storm just as we arrived so it was a little dusty and stuff had come off the roof but not owners issue. Only minor niggles were that the pillows were only satisfactory (a bit lumpy) and I don't think there is air con, although this was fine for us in December. Great tv channels - all UK and international - and wifi was excellent. Also an upstairs kitchen and stereo system which was perfect for the terrace and watching the sunset over the sea. Came equipped with good utensils etc. Overall, we were very happy with the property and our experience with owners.

Nette Wohnung, leider ohne Essmöglichkeit innen

Positives für uns: Parkplatz vor der Tür, schöne Aussicht von der Terrasse bzw. dem Balkon. Es gibt genug Geschirr und Besteck um die Spülmaschine zu befüllen. Negatives für uns: Ich musste Patrick anschreiben, damit ich Infos zum Einchecken erhielt. Da der Kühlschrank und auch die Toilette wahrscheinlich schon länger nicht benutzt waren, lief am Anfang überall Wasser aus. Es fehlen Haken im Badezimmer, Schneidemesser in der Küche und auch mal ein Spül-u.Geschirrtuch nebst Spüli. Als wir ankamen hatte die Wohnung einen starken chemischen Geruch, sehr unangenehm und sicherlich auch schädlich. Wir hatten etwas Schwierigkeiten den Zugang zum Pool zu finden, sodass ich Patrick anschrieb. Eine Antwort bekam ich leider erst nach zwei Tagen. Wenn das Wetter toll ist, kann man gut auf der Terrasse bzw. auf dem Balkon essen, nur wenn schlechtes Wetter (was wir hatten) gibt es keine Essmöglichkeiten in der Wohnung. Es gibt nur einen kleinen, wackeligen tiefen Sofatisch. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Strand, der zu Fuß gut zu erreichen ist. Ansonsten benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto.

Prachtig dakterras!

Voor de 4e keer verbleven we in dit appartement. Dat zegt eigenlijk al genoeg, alhoewel het meubilair en een aantal dingen aan onderhoud toe zijn. De koelkast bevat nog steeds een grote laag ijs aan de binnenkant en is dus niet vervangen. Hij functioneerde verder goed, dus we hebben geen last van het ijs gehad. In de badkamer staat een badmeubel, waarbij de verf afbladdert. Ook op het zonneterras zijn de meubels aan vervanging toe. De stoelen zitten goed, maar slijten aan de bovenkant. De pergola heeft een lik verf nodig. Maar....als je door dit alles heen kunt kijken heeft het appartement ook heel veel voordelen. Het prachtige zonneterras met een schilderij als uitzicht!!! Iedere avond kun je genieten van een prachtige zonsondergang. De locatie vonden wij geweldig. Rustig, met uitzicht over het dorp en de zee. Ook is alles aanwezig in het appartement. Voldoende handdoeken, kruiden, azijn, olie, voldoende glazen, bestek en servies. We hadden een 5 gegeven als alles piekfijn in orde was geweest en we zouden het appartement zo weer boeken. Helaas zijn de weken, die wij graag naar Tenerife zouden willen, alweer geboekt door andere mensen.

Das Appartment bietet einen tollen Blick auf den Atlantik von den drei Balkonen bzw Terrassen. Es ist auch gut erreichbar mit dem Mietwagen und bietet für 2 Personen ausreichend Platz. Der Zustand der Anlage ist allgemein gesehen gut, der Zustand des Appartments läßt aber einige Wünsche offen... -Die Einrichtung wirkt nur auf den ersten Blick vollkommen intakt.... vieles ist bereits jenseits der normalen Nutzungsdauer... das Bett mit angestrapsten Brettern die doch ständig runterfallen, auf dem Sofa sind die Auflagen soweit durchgesessen, dass man auf den Hölzern sitzt.... ich will nicht noch mehr aufzählen... denn alles macht den Eindruck, das zu wenig Interesse des Eigentümers an der Wohnung besteht. -Ja die Wohnung hat zwei Schlafzimmer, aber das zweite ist klein und stickig.... die Betten sind eher ungeeignet zum Schlafen und wenn man das kleine Fenster zum offenen Hausflur für mehr Luft öffnet, ist man Teilnehmer an den nächtlichen Strassenrennen übermotorisierter Menschen (die Landstrasse läuft schnurgerade am Berg in rund 30m Entfernung vorbei) Kurz... das Schlafen wird dort manchmal schwieriger. -Der Eigentümer selbst antwortet nur sporadisch und unvollständig auf unsere Mails.... auch er scheint nicht wirklich an seinen Gästen Interesse zu haben. -Der Ort selbst besteht aus wenigen Hotels, vielen vielen Eigentums/Zweit/Dritt Wohnungen und sehr wenig Möglichkeiten für den Abend. Ein wenig langweilig , aber ansonsten sauber und okay.

This property is superb. The furniture and fixings are a little worn/ dated but there is plenty of equipment, cutlery crockery etc The roof terrace is definately its biggest asset. Its huge, well furnished, not overlooked and has great views over the coast and sea. Patrick the owner was happy to allow late check in and check out. There is a key safe on the door. I believe Patrick lives in Belguim but has maintenance and cleaners to look after the property. We got a little twitchy about check in details as they were only sent on the day we travelled but all was good. There are a total of 2 balconies and 1 roof terrace. The property is over 2 fllors. The first level is the two bedrooms bathroom and open plan kitchen and lounge.one bedroom has its own balcony. Theres another balcony with table for 4 at the base of the stairs leading to an upstairs kitchenette and the roof terrace. We used the provided electric hotplate/grill and cooked on the roof terrace most nights which was a lovely space to spend the evening with the family. Only negatives are that the second bedroom is very tight. Theres a single bed and a bunk bed which has seen better days. My 17yr old son didnt feel like using it so he used a pull out under the single bed. Personally i think 2 seperate singles and less wardrobe storage would be a better solution. The only other thing is that theres no aircon. Small fans are provided but we ended up leaving doors and balcony doors open to keep it cool enough to sleep com

Une grande déception

Ayant séjourné une dizaine de jours dans ce logement en 2020, nous avons voulu réitérer cette année. En 2020, nous avions été accueilli par des hotes charmants, à l'écoute, qui nous avait même dépanné suite à un décalage de vol d'avion. À l'époque, l'appartement était en parfait état. Ce n'est plus la même chose désormais. L'appartement a été revendu, et même si les meubles ont été gardés, ça a pourtant bien changé. Le manque d'entretien est flagrant, c'est désormais vetuste. Le jour de notre arrivée, les deux frigo avait une couche de givre énorme à l'intérieur. Nous nous en sommes rendu compte en revenant des courses. Nous avons quand même chargé le frigo principal qui est tombé en panne pendant la nuit. Il s'est arrêté seul et à dégivrer pour redémarrer le lendemain matin. Résultats un plein de frigo jeté à la poubelle, et une inondation dans la pièce principale que nous avons dû nettoyer en pleine nuit... Nous avons tenté de contacter l'hôte le lendemain matin qui nous a répondu qu'il fallait faire attention de bien fermer la porte. Ce que nous avions bien évidemment fait... Suite à cet incident il n'a plus été possible de le joindre une seule fois pendant tout le séjour (2 semaines), ni par l'application Abritel, ni par WhatsApp. Il ne répondait pas aux messages affichés comme "lus", ni aux appels, même pour de simples questions comme un problème d'accès à la piscine. Nous avons dû demander l'aide des voisins. Logement et surtout hôte a fuir malheureusement.

The property is in a quiet area with restaurants and shops a 10 minute walk away and good access to the main road system. We loved the terrace where we spent a lot of time.
