Fantastic service, very personal attention, and great food. The rooms were beautiful, with an amazing view overlooking the jungle. We took advantage of most of the activities the hotel offered, and overall everything was truly 10 out of 10. However, I would avoid the cycling tour. I honestly felt it was unsafe. My two children and I had to ride our bikes through the busy traffic in Ubud before reaching the rice fields, and on the way back we had to cycle a considerable distance along the same road. I clearly told the guide that I did not feel this was safe for me or my children. The cycling itself through the rice fields was a wonderful experience, but I strongly recommend that guests are driven to the starting point instead of having to cycle through traffic.

We were quite disappointed. We were expecting a lot considering the resort’s ratings. Check in was 3pm. We arrived at 4:20pm and our room still wasn’t ready. When we got to our room at 6pm there was no extra bed which we’d paid for. We had a package including canapés and cocktails 4:30-6. We ordered right on 4:30 but it took half an hour for any food or drink to come. Canapés were one miniature chicken wing and a dollop of dip with a few vegetable sticks each. All pool beds were taken early morning. People had reserved them with their belongings. Breakfast was very average. On the plus side… the ocean view rooms were spacious and a staff member gave the kids a complimentary icecream and teddy. We wouldn’t stay here again. Unfortunately it wasn’t worth the huge amount of money we paid for the inclusions and rooms.
