"Nice place to stay, but on Expedia even when you select the “pet-friendly” room and rate the hotel still up charges you a $20 fee per dog at check-in. I had two dogs. This waa equivalent to a 25% price hike. I don’t believe in hidden fees, and the rate on Expedia should reflect the final cost."

"The hotel is a nice location overlooking downtown and the river. The room was good with comfy beds and bedding. We were travelling with our 65 lb dog, they were very accommodating. The only negative was our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4 pm."

"They’re doing construction and there were drilling noises (or similar) at 1:30am so I brought it to their attention and they offered me a new quieter room.
Noisy and they denied there was any drilling but they were helpful enough in getting me another room at 1:30 am.
There was also a bug in my bathroom but that seems to be a problem at some other hotels in the area.
The hotel is showing its age (old bathtubs instead of standup showers) but they are renovating.
Otherwise the price is...

All on a working ranch with a golf course right next door. They offer complimentary pedal bikes and maps of the trails nearby to hike/cycle. "We spent the weekend in Kamloops and our time at the Grandview was very pleasant. We were greeted at check in by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a clean and quiet room, there was an outdoor area for cooking with BBQ and picnic tables outside. The hotel itself is not a large property, but it's in more of a residential area, so it's quiet and calm.
We'll definitely be staying here again!"

"The nightly price was excellent.
Cleanliness was very good. However, the state of wall repairs was absolutely terrible. Large decayed holes in plaster, door jams needed replacing.
Bedding was too small for mattress, and so thin and dirty looking. Appeared clean but slept in our clothing. Will not return or recommend until improved."
