"We had a lovely night here. The hotel is really clean with lots of character & beautiful gardens. Our room was cosy, the bed was really comfy & the shower was hot! Plenty of teas& coffees to use & good quality toiletries too. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice of hot food cooked to order & a good assortment of cereals., yogurts & top quality fresh fruits. Thecstaff were all very friendly & helpful. It was a 5 minute walk into Bowness or the lake. Can definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...

"Overall very comfortable stay. At check in, the layout of rooms could have been explained. It took us two days to work out the quickest and easiest way to our room. Breakfast was a first class buffet. Everything seemed to be cooked well, i.e. fried egg yokes were still runny, bacon was not over cooked as is often the case, tomatoes were still solid, not overcooked. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off three times during our stay. All false alarms, one at 06.00 in the morning. There really...

"En la relación entre precio y calidad tengo que decir que estuvo muy bien, especialmente porque la estadía fue muy corta. El cuarto era muy pequeño y por preservar un estilo, hay cosas desafortunadamente incómodas para el viajero o la vida de hoy. El baño tenía una pileta de pie, cero lugar para apoyar los 2 necessaires de viaje. Las canillas eran de fria por un lado y caliente por el otro. Sin mezcladora. O sea que para lavarse las manos hay que llenar la pileta o congelarse la derecha mientras...

"La relació qualitat preu no es correspon a un hotel de 4 estrelles. L’habitació era petita i les finestres donaven a les instal·lacions tècniques de l’hotel, en canvi el preu corresponia a una suite. Necessites un vehicle per arribar a l’hotel. Els serveis de personal i especialment la cuina son excelents. "

"Had a grand time at The Waterhead in the week before Easter. Hotel was very comfortable, and our dog was made to feel welcome. It was a good base to explore the Windermere area."

"The check in was simple, with clear instructions provided in the room. Access to good quality WiFi was again simple. I ate in the pub for breakfast and dinner, it was easy to put my dinner bill and associated drinks on my bill. All the staff were friendly and relaxed, despite being a busy bank holiday weekend, which is a credit to them. All the food was fantastic, served hot and without too much of a wait. The staff were on it and keen to give you a good stay. I would definitely stay again! "
