"Great hotel. Old but everything is fine for us"

"After arriving at the hotel we left right away to head out for dinner. After coming back to the room around 10:30 we noticed the TV would not turn on nor did any of our outlets work. We phoned the front desk and a worker came around 11pm. They could not get the outlets or tv to work either. At 12pm we finally had to move rooms (as we had to have working outlets to charge our phones.) However, the only room left was by the elevator. This room was not bad at all, very clean. "This hotel is exceptional. It is super clean and updated, think luxury. The Wellness Center gives you a hot tub, steam room, sauna with a calming fountain and relaxing chairs. The restaurant and bar offer yummy food and drink. On top of a luxurious and comfortable hotel, the staff is some of the nicest folks you’ll meet."

"Our stay at The Samuel Hotel was really nice. We stayed in Deluxe King rooms, we were a family of four with a 17 yr old & 19 yr old so booked 2 rooms. We had requested two rooms next to each other unfortunately they were unable to accommodate, the rooms were on different floors which wasn’t ideal. This was the only negative thing about our stay. The rooms were spacious & clean, beds were super King & really comfortable, in room amenities were really good & were replenished daily if used eg tea,...

"It's a beautiful hotel and the dinner we had at the restaurant was excellent. We were also very happy with the shuttle service to and from the airport. However, for the price we paid, I expected air conditioning in our room, or at least a circulating fan to use. The one window opened only a sliver and it got pretty stuffy in our room fairly quickly. That was during May; I can't imagine what it would be like during a summer heat wave."

"Staff went above and beyond when I needed some help. Rooms on the small side and there is a bar downstairs that plays loud music. But I was able to sleep. Great location in the heart of Dublin"

"We had a great stay one night stay at this hotel. The hotel is very well located for walking about Dublin. Clean room with comfortable bed. Lovely lobby. We did not eat at the hotel so unable to comment on that aspect. Valet service for our car was great. No complaints and would stay again if we find ourselves back in Dublin."
