"Stayed for 3 nights, but unfortunately the air conditioning did not work throughout our stay. The room remained quite warm, making it difficult to sleep comfortably all three nights. We requested a fan on the second night and opened windows which helped somewhat, but the room was still too warm. "Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, Möbel etwas abgenutzt und das Badezimmer bedarf einer komplett Renovierung. Wir waren schon in sehr vielen Hotel der Van der Valk Gruppe, vor allem in NL. Da ist man schon etwas verwöhnt. Das Hotel an sich ist ein toller Bau, gemütlich und großzügig. Viele kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden. Aufenthalt war schön, sehr freundliches Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Do not go to this hotel for the spa! It is tiny. There were no staff members keeping it tidy on either day we visitied. Kids screaming - despite the signs and so many towels used and not cleared up it was not a pleasant experience - especially as the photos make it look so inviting. - Don't be fooled by the photos! "The shower door didn't fully seal so after the first shower the bathroom was flooded. Our stay coincided with an usual heat wave which is not the properties fault, however it is advertised as having air conditioning. What it has is a chiller unit for the entire building that was not capable of keeping up with the temperature outside. It had to be 39 in our room which made for terrible sleeping. After speaking to the staff after the first night they suggested it was our fault for not setting...

"Unfortunately 3 of the 4 elevators were out of order every day of our 3 night stay. With a full house, each time the elevator came down to the lobby it resemble a clown car with all the people packed in it. Very poor for the price one pays to stay here."

"Voor een 4 sterrenhotel viel mij dit echt tegen. De locatie is perfect, maar dat is ook het enige wat ik top vond. Er zaten vlekken in de gordijnen en in de stoel die er stond. Er was geen shampoo in de douche (was leeg bij aankomst en werd ook niet aangevuld). Het bed was oké, maar de kussens waren echt veel te klein. Zeer omcomfortabel geslapen. Het ergste vond ik het licht. Dat flikkerde de hele tijd. Heb dit aangegeven en gevraagd of er naar gekeken kon worden. Is naar mijn weten niet...

"AC was not working in the last night. Staff, Mohamed was trying to fix it but no result. He apologized and left us a fan and gave us a complimentary breakfast the morning after. Other than that, everything was better than we expected."
