"Just a place to stay and convenient to Skógafoss and the Fimm Trail. Clean, comfy beds and pillows. Great view of falls and aurora from windows. Breakfast was acceptable, simple breakfast food and limited offerings. Coffee was available 24/7. Outside needs some cleaning up but we were pleasantly surprised how nice the inside was. I’d stay here again. Can walk to the falls and the restaurant. "

"We had a nice stay at Guesthouse Edinberg, room was clean, upstairs had refrigerator, kitchen with sink and stove top, comfortslve couches tables and chairs and an old galaxy game, no quarters needed. We needed code to get into our room which was provided to us in the message section of our hotel app. The listing says it would be emailed to us but that is where I found it. There were several other people arriving that did not receive their access code which caused a lot of stress. There...

"Pictures here need updating. Farm Stays since 1984; they've got it right. Rooms in the new building are small but efficient.......they reminded me of stables for size and shape: beds and showers great, no complaints. Lovely small bar and great food for evening meal. Warm and friendly staff."

"This is an amazing accommodation when visiting Vik. It is in a very convenient location. You can easily walk into town. The cabin was comfortable, clean and had everything you would need. I was worried when I read a review about the walls being paper-thin. I disagree, there is adequate soundproofing. We only heard people when they were entering the other half of the cabin. "

"I spent six nights in this guesthouse during a July 2025 photography tour with some friends. The apartment was clean, neat, quiet, and well suited for one or two people (I was solo.) Sitting about 8 miles west of Vik there was a great view of the ocean whcih was several miles away. The owners stopped by a few times to see if I needed anything--I didn't but appreciated their attention. The kitchenette was fine for me but I would recommend the owners put in a microwave to warm up prepared foods...
