"This is our go-to hotel when want a few days away. It’s location is perfect for visits to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bath and many of the other beautiful area’s around this hotel. "As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. "

"I must say the size of our suite was impressive. What was more impressive was the cleanliness of the room. Our super king size bed had a supremely comfortable mattress, the room came with a small kitchenette area which we didn't use and plenty of tea and coffee etc and the muffins were a bonus. The bathroom was large and spotless with a great walk-in shower. Towels were fluffy and soft. Sleep quality brilliant and we would recommend this property "
