"Checked in around 5pm, and we’re given our keys to the room. When we got to the room, the room was open and a pile of dirty laundry was stacked in the doorway. We found a cleaning person, who was able to stop what she was doing, to move all the linens. She reassured us the room was clean."

"Unique building in a historical area of Madison. Got to speak with the owner about the history of the property. Great location in Madison. A picky wish would be for the room could use more strategically placed outlets for charging devices. A hidden gem. We will go back."

"The location of the Moxy in Madison can’t be beat. We walked just about everywhere and found lots of restaurants to enjoy nearby. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the lounge area is lively and festive. Two things I did not like—the rooms are small, lacking space even for a chair, and there’s no coffee maker in the room. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby, however, along with fruit such as bananas, apples, and oranges."

"We have stayed at this hotel in the past, the last time probably in 2020. We will not stay again. It has significantly gone down hill in that time. The rooms were not very clean, the counters had stickiness from previous stays and there were crumbs all over the floor and beds. Walking into the lobby smelled very musty and throw the halls smelled like marajuana on multiple occasions. The hot tub was broken and apparently early has been for over a month. The pool area was a mess - dirty...
