"Great Value! We just needed a place to sleep before we went to the airport early am. Clean. Very dated. ABSOLUTELY needs carpet replaced with Laminate flooring. Front desk was solo at 9 pm and it was packed but he handled it well. DO NOT recommend for solo female travelers."

"The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Love the good water pressure in the shower.. that is something hard to find in hotels. The only problem was the radiator heat. I had to call the front desk to have it somehow turned on. The room was off cold."

"Just needed a few hours stay for catching a flight next day. Was in a quiet neighborhood within 3 miles from the airport and was worth the price - nothing fancy. The room was clean but no microwave and less amenities but was under $100 after taxes from the usual $200-$500 daily San Francisco rates. Hospitality was decent it was past midnight and the hotel clerk called first. Clean. quiet. And comfortable bed and shower with bathtub made this place judged good place to stay when traveling to SFO....

"The Herbert hotel was perfect for our one night stay. It was close to the rental car office and walkable to lots of shops and restaurants. The downside was there was no mini-fridge for our cold food. I did like that we felt safe with the locked key front door. It was quiet and clean. "
