"For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony "

"The hostel was very clean. Especially the toilets, the bathrooms and the kitchen. Those are the areas I check first, and they were very clean. I never stayed at a hostel before so I had very low expectations because of the low price. But I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
