I would rate this hotel a 3.5 out of 5. The property itself was clean, and most of the staff were great—especially the servers we encountered at Sole, Fresco, L.G. Smith’s, and Aquarius. Housekeeping also did an excellent job keeping our room clean throughout our stay. The main reason for my rating is the all-inclusive package, which I do not feel was worth the money. We previously stayed at Wind Creek Curaçao and purchased the all-inclusive package there, and the cost felt justified based on what was included. Our refrigerator was fully stocked with beverages, snacks, and chips, and there were also stronger restaurant options. Unfortunately, our experience at Wind Creek Aruba was very different. We booked an ocean suite and added the all-inclusive package at check-in, expecting the offering to be at least somewhat similar since it is the same hotel brand. However, when we asked about having the refrigerator stocked, we were told that we could bring a water bottle to the pool area and refill it at the water fountain. After paying an additional $2,000 for the all-inclusive package, that response made it clear that the value simply was not there. Again, the hotel itself was fine: the property was clean, and the staff provided very good service. But based on our experience, I would not recommend purchasing the all-inclusive package, as it did not deliver enough value for the price.
