"This is a lovely small hotel and restaurant run by a lovely couple. The setting is like something out of a story book. From our room we could hear the soothing sound of the fountain and the church bells ringing from the nearby bell tower. The bed was comfy. There is a nice breakfast in the morning for hotel guests. "It's in the middle of a hill so make sure the taxi takes you to the entrance. The location is really great for walking around. There is a small park at the top of the hill. (2 min walk) with a wonderful view of the river. After that walk back down and explore all of the streets. It wasn't really a problem in our stay but obviously can be situationally inconvenient, especially overnight. No AC, which during European heatwaves these last few summers makes it very difficult to sleep and relax. "Property was very clean, staff was wonderful, perfect location in the heart of the city. The air conditioning was ok but I felt that they regulated the cooling in the evening, woke up in a sweat most nights. Went in the heat of summer... but overall a very nice place."
