"Wasn’t expecting a 500CHF deposit at check in… but I understand. Would’ve been nice to know before showing up. Also, there was construction work going on just outside so there wasn’t much sleeping in. There was cleaning staff each day so that was nice and unexpected for an apartment stay. Well equipped and spacious for our family."

"It's in the middle of a hill so make sure the taxi takes you to the entrance. The location is really great for walking around. There is a small park at the top of the hill. (2 min walk) with a wonderful view of the river. After that walk back down and explore all of the streets. We were only there overnight since we had to get up at 4 am to catch a flight, but it was very comfortable in room 11. "Our room is superbly elegant it smell so good.highly recommended. The concierge staff in the front desk is so friendly our room is ready by 11: am when we arrived from Lucerne. Coz she knows we have an early fight the next day back home. The restaurant next to the hotel is really Swiss authentic. I wish we have more time in Zurich. We will be back again. The shopping location is so accessible. The interior design, murals and panting in the hotel is so special. We truly enjoy our room balcony...

"Beautiful hotel, very clean, with friendly staff, good breakfast and coffee available all day, and located in the heart of Zurich. The only issue with the hotel is that it is too tight."

"We paid a high price for the view and comfort. The view was on the construction site, and the comfort was such that at 7 am the selection hammers on the construction site started working. After a long trip from the USA, we wanted to sleep in, but we couldn't. We couldn't sleep from 7 am because construction work has begun. Don’t recommend this hotel 🙄"

"There is air conditioning but does not cool the room enough and no ice machine. The room was cleaned daily which is really good. If needing to check-in early, hotel needs to be informed in advance; otherwise, hotel will not accommodate the request per my experience."

"The property is perfectly located central to Old Town and Zurich HB. The property has been well maintained, has character and updated amenities but is definitely a boutique style hotel based on the room sizes. There was street and side building construction noises reverberating through the building at 9 am, noon and 3 pm. Loud enough to wake us during napping."

"There’s no AC in this property. For an extra 20 francs you could be upgraded to a room with an AC unit. However you can’t adjust the climate (beacause of city law) therefore you’re in the same hot room as before. I left the property 2 hours after I went into my room and moved to another hotel with AC and no restrictions."

"The hotel is well located; an easy walk from Zurich HBF even with some luggage. Our room was clean and of a good size. The staff were happy to let us store a couple of bags between visits while we walked in the mountains. Breakfast is serviceable. The free minibar, and ice creams and water at reception, are a nice bonus. I will happily stay here again."

"The property was a little hard to find at first, but the staff shared some useful directions and maps that made it easier to find where to go. Once checking in, the staff kindly showed us to our room and all the details for our stay. It was a nice room and provided everything that we needed. A great spot to be close to the airport. By car was easy and we noticed 2 different train stations nearby."
