"The lady at the front desk was rude when inquiring about a fridge for the room. She had said we reserved a regular rooms, and they didn't come with fridges. NOTHING is mentioned about that on Expedia, for either the deluxe or regular family rooms. So I checked their website later and there are "mini bars" listed for EVERY room. So instead of dining at their hotel restaurant for dinner, with a large group of us, we ate the food that was going to go bad by morning."

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel has a charming retro style, and while the rooms are a bit older, they are well maintained and have a lot of character. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made the whole stay feel very personal. There is plenty of parking available, and the hotel is very pet friendly. There is also a nice garden and lots of outdoor space, which made it perfect for walking...

"Wir waren für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp dort. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Das Zimmer war trotz der Lage sehr ruhig mit schöner Aussicht ins grüne. Auch ein Babybett wurde uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Wer auf dem Weg in den Urlaub eine Pause machen möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben und im Ort gibt es leckere Pizza. 😎"

"We spent 5 wonderful days in May at the Belvedere. The rooms have an incredible lake view and are just lovely. The breakfast, included, has a generous selection. We dined 3 nights at the hotel restaurant which is absolutely elegant and offers delicious food. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The island is very small and everything is “right there”. Definitely a place we will remember and go back to!"

"We loved our stay here. A beautiful, old style property with beautiful gardens, lovely old furnishings with lots of artwork on the walls. Phenomenal views from the rooftop area, which is sadly underutilized. Great lake views from many of the rooms. 20 minute walk into Stresa along a lovely walkway on the lake edge. Good breakfast as well. Highly recommended"

"Nous étions 3 personnes et avons eu la chambre Penthouse qui est vraiment un appartement magnifique avec ascenseur privé! L’hôtel est situé proche de tout (bus, train, bateau, Piazza Grande, funiculaire etc) Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir"

"Very nice hotel on the Lago Maggiore in Verbania! Staff was super kind to find the right room for my mother that is 82 and has mobility issues ! The area is very nice calm with many restaurants and cafe around . Great location of the hotel and from there you can also take the little ferries to visit all the Lake’s Town and little islands !"

"Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen und alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ebenso der See. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz verfügbar. Bitte Markttag beachten. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, mehrsprachig und hatte immer ein nettes Wort sowie ein Lächeln für die Gäste. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett hat uns gut gefallen. Top. Weiter so. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Stunning location & comfortable rooms. Tip: it is better if you have your own car but there is a bus stop just outside the door. Friendly staff but disappointing there was no water or tea & coffee facilities in the rooms. Also our air conditioner wasn’t working for the first 48 hours which, during a hot spell, made one room uncomfortable."
