Curry Village is an awesome place to stay while at Yosemite. The rooms tents are well maintained and the views are spectacular. We parked the car and traveled for free using the parks free shuttles which are more like city buses. The village has decent foods and even a bar for those who want to sit and enjoy the amazing views. The staff were wonderful and helpful people. The little grocery store in Curry had the best coffee in the morning. The only thing I think they need to improve on are the bathroom and shower rooms. They may need to be cleaned and stocked more often, but with staffing shortages in our National Parks Im sure it can be a challenge. I cant wait to come back.

I would stay here again for sure as it is convenient, taken care of well, and the staff are nice. I used the bathrooms/showers attached to the main buildings where the foods/stores are, so I don’t know how the other ones were. I heard when there are lots of kids staying there such as a school event, the other bathrooms sometimes get a little crazy. I did have a tent next to me full of teenage boys that were repeatedly being told by a parent that they needed to be quiet, and they repeatedly and very loudly weren’t listening, so that was pretty annoying for a couple nights until like 11pm+ and then starting back up again around 5:30am. But outside of the rare school groups that don’t listen, people are really respectful about the quiet hours. Anyway, I will def stay here again and it’s so cute and fun and a great centralized location! Everything else about it is perfect

Parking was fairly easy to understand, there are signs & maps that help you lead the way. The only problem that made us uneasy was the black mold in the tent. Maybe if the camp could focus on trying to reducing it. I can’t speak for other tents but at least for ours it was just very concerning. Other than that, the staff, amenities were good and would be back for a future stay!

This place is amazing. Tents were fun, food was great especially the pizza. Conveniently had a little store and gift shop and a wide variety of snacks. Bike rentals were fun and much easier on my tired legs from hiking the day before. Check-in was easy. If you stay in tent bring a lock for bear box but if you forget it, they had a reasonably priced one in the store. If you’re new to bear country… you might arrive and be unsure about whether you really have to use the bear box… use the bear box!! Great experience!

Just why we needed! We were only in the park for 2 days, Curry village was a perfect location and set up to maximize the time we spent on the trail and exploring the valley. Every direction you look from the property is stunning scenery. Clean tent, plenty cozy with the heater (it would have been very cold without!). I recommend bringing extra blankets/sleeping bags. Also, rent bikes! It’s the best way to see all of the sites without the hassle of finding parking or waiting on shuttles. Plus, it’s completely gorgeous on the bike paths.

If you want to disconnect this is the place. Stayed In the basic tent so no heat, electricity for 1 light. You can can charge near the front office and have WiFi. You’re right in the middle of Yosemite with a large parking lot and a shuttle to take you round trip around the valley. Also no food allowed in the tents but they provide a bear proof container outside.

Going to bed and waking up in Yosemite Valley is amazing! Being able to enjoy a beer on the deck and find your favorite coffee in the early morning is comforting and heartwarming. Staff at check-in, at the food establishments were excellent: welcoming, friendly, ready to help, in the busy-ness of it all. Parking was a little like musical chairs - and we eventually found spaces. Our tent cabin was clean, with 2 towels, sheets, pillows, and a blanket. We also brought our own sleeping bags. Even though everything was really clean, we did see mice droppings. We chalked it up to outdoor living and it was no problem for us.

It’s fun time camping!! Clean toilets and showers, nice staff lots of nice food and snack options. Definitely get a tent with a heater if you are going out of summer season. Loved it, would definitely book again. The trails are amazing it’s the most beautiful place EVER and staying here you are in the heart of it all. Amazing.

Clean cabin. The main blanket was a sleek poly blanket, but not warm enough by itself in the unheated cabin. There were extra wool blankets, but they slide off during the night. Parking was packed due to Spring Break crowd. Had to park at the Ahwahnee the first day. Shower house by the pool was better than the one just south of the village (more & better clothes hooks)

Parking was good, property is well maintained and people are good at the registration office. The only complaint I have is with the bedding. When we stayed, it snowed in the night and the blankets and the comforter provided was very thin and we were not able to sleep in the night due to cold even after taking two blankets per person. The tent was unheated. I feel the management should have better blankets or let the people staying know in advance so that they prepare for it. The experience we had was uncalled for.
