Nice flat, great view and location, convenient parking. Only drawback is the communal door between the flat and lift wouldn't open, so we had to use 3 flights of stairs to go through the garage every time.

Best kept secret in York?

I have been to York many times and stayed in many great places around the city but this beats them all. An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. And having a parking spot in the lower level garage was a bonus. On my next trip, this will definitely be my first choice. Just one thing to be aware of; our communication with Jamal regarding check-in was done by a phone call and text once we were a half hour from checking in. Only one of our three U.S. based phones had UK voice service so this was not a problem. If you will not have a phone capable of texting and making calls then you may want to let them know ahead of time. I'm sure they have a workaround as they seem to have thought of everything! Again, this flat was superb and made our trip even more enjoyable. I cannot think of a single thing that could use improvement.

Great little apartment

Excellent location approx 10 min walk to Shambles and attractions. Apart from the single beds squeaking every time you moved was a lovely little apartment to enjoy a weekend away with friends, ideal with the garage parking. Would recommend and we would stay again if in York.

Fabulous Apartment great location

York is my fav city and it was my friends 60th Birthday we all had a fabulous time. It has great everything we had a fab breakfast in the Ivy lush.

Perfect location for us on our stay in York. Apartment had everything we needed, two bathrooms worked well with the kids and a cosy kitchen/living area. I didn’t receive info for check in prior, so it was a bit of hassle tracking down their number, but once in touch they were very helpful, polite and accomodating. Thank you for hosting us.

This property was great for our family's short stay in York. Communications were clear and prompt. The location was perfect for us with transportation and all the sites we wanted to visit within walking distance. The flat had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this property to others.

Very conveniently located metres from the north gate of the city. 10 minutes walk to the Shambles and overlooks the Minster. Apartment was roomy for 4 with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms

Unsatisfactory Condition & NOT Friendly Attitude

So the blinds are broken & the bed is not clean. The room is huge tho. The house could not receive cellphone signal which is local SIM. They would not let me change booking date or store credit unless the date of my booking is sold. They basically asked me to cancel the booking which i have paid & no refund will be made. Not friendly attitude because i have called them 5 mins after i have booked the wrong date, they are money sucker and wouldn't allow me to change dates even i explained. I have to give away the booking to my friends in London and they give the feedbacks of the environment.

Really great stay, few minor improvements needed

Property location is amazing and flat was clean. We really enjoyed our stay but a few improvements could be made. No plug or cloth for dishes in the kitchen. Broken blinds in living room, toilets had brick supports and small rips in bedding. If these small things were rectified the stay would be perfect.

Amazing clean central apartment

Apartment was fantastic. Clean, very central - literally a five minute walk from the Minster. Free parking in garage was a life-saver. Comfortable beds, great shower in the en suite. Well equipped kitchen with tea and coffee pods to get you started. Lovely lounge area. Check in was seamless. A really well run let and a credit to the owner - thank you so much, hope to return soon!
