"Always a good stay at the Gate Hotel. Rooms are more spacious than typical hotel rooms in Tokyo. Located next to Sumida River and close to Ryogoku station. 20 minutes walk to Asakusa. Beds are comfortable and amenities are provided. Cleaning staff are polite. Only improvement is the ability to check in early, especially after a long flight! "

"We were a family of 4 with 2 teens and booked standard room but they gave us the premium japanese family room which was VERY spacious! Thank you. The rooms fits 6 generously and is fully equipped with toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer. Beds were comfortable! Super convenient location - steps to Tawaramachi exit on Ginza Line, 7/11, many restauranta, Don Quijote, Sensoji Temple. Asakusa is not as busy as Shinjuku and Shibuya but has all the shops and amenities. "

"This was a great choice for our family. The area was quiet but still very accessable to the Metro and jr line. We enjoyed the breakfast, it is small but sufficient and a good start to a day of sight seeing. The kitchen area has everything we needed and the bathroom and shower we're very nice. We had the bunk bed set up and our son loved having his own 'fort bed '. Would definitely stay here again"
