"The ryokan was a very special experience. A beautiful place to stay in historic Kurashiki. It was a treat to be in such a uniquely Japanese space with the tatami floor, the futon and the special bath. Lovely staff too. "

The kitchen had everything you need: fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, dishes and cutlery, and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and hot water. Communications with the property owner were quick, responsive, and helpful. This is also an excellent location on the island. Loved Naoshima, loved our two nights at Quaint House! Highly recommend."

"Lovely room in a lovely boutique hotel. Clean, spacious, well appointed, and a great shower. 2-minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the historic quarter. Just be aware that they changed the checkout time to 10. (Some of their materials still say 11 and we had factored that into our plans.)"

About a ten minutes walk from the train station and fifteen minutes to the historical district. Food is nearby with two convenience stores across the street."
